💙🤪 Meet the REYU Team 2026–2027… unfortunately, these are the people in charge 😭💀

We promise we’re serious about Econ… just not about our pictures. 📉📸 Get to know the faces behind REYU (and maybe question our sanity along the way).

New year, new team, same questionable energy. 🤝😭

Show our team some love in the comments! 🫶💙

🚨 THE WANTED LINEUP HAS DROPPED. 🚨

These economists have been charged with having dangerously strong opinions and are officially wanted for questioning the economy a little too loudly.

Their alleged crimes? Hot takes on GDP, wealth, rent control, unpaid internships, economic growth and more.

Their sentence? A PIE TO THE FACE. 🥧

Come find us at YorkFest on September 22 and choose your target.

🥧 $3 = 1 pie
🥧🥧 $5 = 2 pies
📍 YorkFest
🕙 10 AM–3 PM

Who are you pieing first? 👀

Hot takes shown belong to each participant and are part of the event bit.

REYU’s Co-President has officially been charged with GDP slander.

“GDP is an overrated measure of progress.”

Last seen making this entire event happen, which unfortunately does NOT grant immunity from the consequences.

President or not, nobody is above the pie.

🥧 Find Reet at YorkFest
Sept 22 | 10 AM to 3 PM

🚨 WANTED: our VP Finance for saying economic growth can actually make society worse off.

Bro controls the REYU budget AND has opinions about growth? Dangerous combination.

Last seen skiing or something. Now he’s been sentenced to something much worse: getting pied by you.

🥧 Catch Jaden at YorkFest
$3 for 1 pie | $5 for 2
Sept 22, 10 AM to 3 PM

🚨 Ayaan has been located.

His alleged crime?

“Billionaires shouldn’t exist.”

His actual crime?

Apparently being caught munching Popeyes instead of doing Outreach.

Regardless of which offence bothers you more, the punishment is the same: pie in the face.

Catch him at YorkFest on Sept 22 🥧

Hriday joined REYU as a First Year Rep and immediately chose violence:

“Who owns wealth matters more than how much wealth exists.”

First year and already starting wealth distribution discourse?? 😭

He’s usually busy talking to first years. On Sept 22, you can interrupt the conversation with a pie.

🥧 $3 for 1 | $5 for 2
Find us at YorkFest.

Zeynep has a message for every graph going 📈:

“An economy can grow while people get worse off.”

Very thoughtful. Very nuanced. Very pie-able.

Last seen yapping, so if you’ve been looking for a way to stop her mid-sente taken in York University by @reyorkuca
