Ini dia nih gara-garanya aku bikin Yogi's Deck

I started creating The Yogi’s Deck during my 50-hour YTT self-practice. I had to write my sequences, and I naturally loved writing the asana names in Sanskrit.

Later, during practice with my teacher, I was often asked, “What pose is that?” And the answer would sometimes be, “The one with the leg forward.” 😂

It made me think: these poses have names. Why not learn them and embrace them?

So I started designing something that could help me as both a teacher and a practitioner.

The process took a while — digital drawings, pencil sketches, back to digital, then adding watercolor. Designing the box, choosing the paper… I enjoyed every little part of it.

And throughout the process, I kept imagining one thing: I hope everyone who uses these cards enjoys them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Finally, I’m officially a yoga teacher!

So grateful to have completed my YTT with One Song Yoga School @sehelaspace
A big thank you to my waheguru @denisepayneyoga @clararalie and all my amazing batchmates. I honestly don’t think I could have made it to the end without your support, encouragement, and of course… all the healthy and delicious food along the way! ❤️

The journey wasn’t always easy. Completing my self-practice, showing up, learning, practicing, and figuring things out along the way, it all became part of the story.
I’m so grateful for every lesson, every challenge, every laugh, and every person I met along the way.
Here’s to a new chapter.
May it be a beautiful and joyful one 🤍 by @rezaolit
