Swing is alive and well, and @thefrankiesixes are giving it a distinctly Malaysian rhythm.

Led by @rezasalleh, the six-piece takes its cues from classic swing while folding in references closer to home. From P. Ramlee and Saloma to nasyid melodies and even the odd patriotic tune.

Add in a packed Lindy Hop dance floor, and suddenly it feels like a jazz scene from another era.
