Human Will and Love conquers. For my friends going through tough times. This shows my dads 2nd stroke recovery. He had 3 strokes 2005 , 2011 and 2016. But he also did 3 months in ICU for quadruple bipass heart surgery in 2005 which he got Staph Mrsa from the surgery! 4min mark was after his 3rd stroke where we went through rehab together again in 2016. Nobody knows that the adversity isn't just in my father's will to push through which is huge in itself. But also the hurdles and the dark side behind healthcare. Case managers and ethics committee telling me to pull the plug on my dad! Administrators attempting to send my dad 1.5 hours away from me so he dies in rehabilitation center. I called the department of health in Sacramento and they flew in on an airplane the next day for a hearing and stopped them from sending him out. My dad dying/ hyperventilating 7 hours in ICU during his 2nd stroke because his stoma (hole in his neck was too big) and air was excaping from the ventilator. The pulmonary Dr having no clue just telling me its the end of his life in the consultation room. But I called the shots as DPOA and asked if we could stitch the hole smaller in his neck so air would get properly into his lungs from the ventilator. They took my advice and it worked. It was obvious , if you're pumping up a soccer ball and there's a hole in the other end, air escapes. So patch up the hole! Then there was my dad having Scar tissue blocking 100% of the airway from the prolonged endotracheal intubation tube. Nurses were giving my dad Xanax saying he had anxiety when my dad said he couldn't breathe or talk. I chose to have him scoped by a head and neck DR. with a camera and it turns out he had subglottic stenosis with 100% closure. Three surgeons at the hospital said it was impossible to do the surgery. I showed them the YouTube video of the surgery being performed and found a doctor on my own in San Diego. Dr. Lutch who was amazing! The 3 surgeons who made the false claims later apologized to me. My dad was able to breathe and talk and eventually get the tracheostomy tube out increasing his quality of life. Trach tubes leave you open to pneumonia. We won many battles by @rezzy76
