Good evening 👋🏻 I wanted to pop in and give our new followers & our OG 🫶🏻 followers a proper introduction & some BIG news!! 💛

My name is Tabby - the floral designer here on the farm! This year is our 5th season farming flowers! It’s so crazy to think that time has gone by so quickly. The farm was started by my now mother & sister in law & I in the spring of 2019. During fall 2018 we planned what the field would look like with no clue what we were even doing. All we wanted was to try our hand at flowers & had the perfect place to do it! 👩🏼‍🌾 We started seeds, tilled the field & laid lots of tarp, while the three of us worked full time jobs! We’ve been called crazy a time or two 😂.. thousands of holes were burned into the tarps, drip lines were put down & we planted & weeded for a month straight in the evenings & weekends. I remember sleepless nights because of the excitement, then waking up with new ideas I jotted down in a notebook. I think coffee is what got me through some of those days! ☕️

Each year the field has changed a little, with new ideas & lots of trial & error. We did the Prosser Farmers Market our first season & then covid hit. Life didn’t really change for us on the farm but we needed a way to sell our bouquets so we built the farm stand. We found it to be a hit-giving people a reason to get out of their homes, go for a drive & we found it really made people happy! 🚙🚗🚐🚛🚜

As of just 4 short weeks ago I left my regular full time job to pursue this dream of being a full time flower farmer/florist. 🥹 It was a huge & scary step but one I’ve been so ready for! I am trying to find balance & figure out open hours & a schedule but I haven’t quite got there just yet! I still can’t believe I am saying these words! Full time y’all!! It’s seriously a DREAM! I am so excited for this journey & can’t wait to see where this takes the farm & me!
