Our Canon FD set just got a little bigger!

We’ve added three new focal lengths to our TLS rehoused Canon FD set: a 45mm Yashica, a 100mm with an exceptionally close focus, and a 200mm for those longer shots.

Three new additions, each bringing its own character while fitting beautifully into the classic Canon FD look.

Now available at RGB Rental!

Broadcast meets Cinema! 🎥

The Fujinon HA22x7.8 paired with the IBE Optics HDx35 Expander brings the classic broadcast zoom look to Super 35.

With an impressive 7.8–172 mm zoom range, this setup combines the versatility of a 22x broadcast zoom with the cinematic possibilities of a Super 35 sensor.

Now available for rent at RGB Rental Berlin!

With the new RGB Cine Lens Map, you can compare modern, vintage, spherical and anamorphic lenses by sharpness, contrast and sensor coverage.

This is just the beginning… we’ll continue expanding the map with more lenses over time. For now, the Cine Lens Map is available as a desktop-only version.

Explore the map, find your match and test the lenses at RGB Rental Berlin.

We are sad to see another long standing rental house close its doors. Cinegate has been part of the film industry for many years and has supported countless productions, crews and filmmakers along the way.

Moments like this show how much our industry is changing. Productions are shifting, budgets are under pressure and the role of rental houses is being redefined.

At the same time, we believe in the future of independent rentals: smaller, flexible, close to productions and built around real experience on set.

With that in mind, we are very happy to welcome Gösta Hess to the RGB Rental team. Many of you know Gösta from his years as a dispatcher at Cinegate. We are glad to have his experience, calm approach and deep understanding of production needs with us.

To everyone affected by the closure of Cinegate, we send our respect and best wishes for what comes next. by @rgbrental
