Glazing day goodies. Vol.2 'Flared Forms' Series, in custom matt green finishes. Pieces from my expanding zesty 'Green Collection'. Each of these vases took three coats before reaching the desired vibrancy. With these guys, I wanted to create a family of shapes that reference the same lines and language. I'm particularly fond of the matt finish and little statement handles. I've really enjoyed developing these designs from some sketches and colour way ideas.

Latest asymmetric vessel with sun rays and dappled light. So very grateful for all the birthday well wishes of late!

My floating sanctuary. To me this boat represents freedom, adventure and following what feels good.

I've been living on boats part-time for the last year or so and really fell in love with the community, lifestyle and calm. Boating has really helped me best navigate my overall wellbeing, by engaging more with nature and encouraging me to take life at a slower pace. It's a really enriching experience for little Connie also, she loves watching the world go by when we're on the move.

I'm entering a new chapter, one that fills me with hope and renewed happiness. A little friendly reminder, that if you're craving change, for whatever reason, no scenario is ever set in stone. 💚🌿 by @rgby.studio

Soaking in the first of the Autumnal colours. Some much needed nature meditation, feel good doodles & testing colour combos for future clay makes. Little Connie waits so patiently watching, each time it's so heartwarming.

Sketching has been such an incredible creative outlet recently. I've felt too run down to be behind the pottery wheel of late. It's been a time where ideas have been crystallising. This has been such a healing spot nestled in nature.

I'm really enjoying the onset of Autumn, I adore the shifting colours paired with the sun placement. The backlit colours are always so inspiring.

When in doubt, go commune with the trees, with your trusty soul dog. 🌿🍂💕

Home sweet home. This space means so much to me. It's my floating sanctuary nestled in nature.

My 'Clay Reno' series is all about making clay elements for my Narrow Boat home. So I thought I'd share a few snaps of where I'm at so far. The burgundy canopies are both new and have been such great extensions. Making lil breakfast rooms, housing an ever expanding collection of potted plans and letting in lots of natural light. I'm looking forward to cracking open my log burner again over the next few months, it's one of my favourite cosy rituals. I'm very much an Autumn girlie at heart. Living right next to horses has honestly been a dream of mine since I was little and this year we were blessed with some little friendly foals.

I've got lots of ideas for little suitable projects and I plan to throw in some interior design bits n bobs too. My background is in Interior Design so it will be a nice fusion between my two creative outlets, the other being a fledgling ceramicist.

Pots n Process. Nice neutrals from the making process. Handle details, flared forms, recycling clay, pendant lights and travel mugs.

I've really enjoyed branching into functional pieces this year. From heartfelt thank you mugs to housewarming fruit bowls and even dabbling in lighting design (with it's added head scratching technicalities - that took a wee minute or two to figure out)

I really wanted to give myself that wiggle room to experiment with unexpected colour combos, chemistry driven textures and figuring out fiddly techniques (with many inevitable fails along the way.) I'm really hopeful that new and interesting ideas are going to be birthed out of the intersection of it all. I'm a firm believer that creativity sits in that sweet spot, amidst a state of play.

Some pots & process shots, from the sunny Garden Studio. Capturing colourful moods, the fluffy studio sidekick, fledgling fruit bowls, the pendant light process, material mixes and some uplifting summer blooms.

It has to be said that little Connie is my number one cheerleader when it comes to ceramics. Each time I crack open the studio, she does a lil garden zoomie to celebrate. Each time I'm set to throw at the wheel, she jumps up with joy to join me, wanting to get in on the action. And during each session she waits dutifully laying in a sunshine spot, head perched on a lil ledge. I feel our dogs are more perceptive then we will ever know and celebrate our lil life wins with us.

Last year I planted this wisteria shrub next to the workshop. It's now officially taller than me, pressed up against the glass peeking in. Perhaps one day even a bloom or two.
