Do you live in New England? Perhaps close to the New York's border with CT? Southwestern of Mass, If you are a Connecticuter...

I’m putting together a list of New England creatives, who’d like to connect in real life to build community.

In 2026, I would like to be hosting free gatherings and classes at my home/studio located in the Hartford area-CT, designed simply to bring creatives together.

These events will be a chance to:
• Meet other creatives in the area & beyond
• Ask questions and share experiences
• Learn in a relaxed, supportive environment
• Build real community in the creative industry that can feel isolating

Whether you’re just getting started or have been doing this for years, you’re welcome.

A LITTLE STORY | So, how did it all begin for me in design?

I grew up in Brazil, spending my childhood between two very different worlds — my mom grandparents’ sustainable farm and my father's grandparents’ stylish city pension hotel, where I used to spend most of my holidays.

On the farm, I was in love with the beauty of rustic, handmade furniture and the simplicity of down-to-earth living. The green fields, the creeks and rolling hills were magical. In the city, I was fascinated by modern design details in my grandparents well-designed hotel — and yes, of course, the vibrant streets with all the candy and toys stores; sparked my imagination so much too.

What I truly carried from both worlds is this: design isn’t just about furniture or style. It’s about creating spaces that feel alive — where people gather, laugh, eat, and feel at home.

That’s still the heart of what inspires me today.

A PLACE TO RESET | If enjoy good design and spectacular nature this is the perfect place to be @exploratravel _ But it has a high price! Just to let you know in advance. You can visit and enjoy it for a few hours, if you are not willing to pay the high price my recommendation for a reasonable price is staying @riverside.patagonia _ a very cool place where you get quite an experience. And the food! Oh! So delicious!

FRUSTRATED MOMENTS | Why am I complaining? Spring is coming! I walk around my house and I find all these beautiful moments. I am leaving the dream! Come on! Why am I complaining? Why are we so complicated?!
