From west to east and back, my 4-week journey around the world has come to an end. 7 countries, 15 flights, 16 hotels, nearly 30,000 miles — all with just a carry-on and a backpack!Travel has a way of opening your eyes. I was mesmerized by the beauty of each place, and deeply moved by the richness of cultures and traditions I was able to experience. But alongside the wonder, I also witnessed the weight of poverty and the harsh reality that so many people still lack access to the most basic necessities.
