How it started vs. How it’s going

Happy 10th anniversary to my best friend! I can’t imagine a better partner to go through life with. You have dealt with so much over the past decade from moving all around the country and now to the other side of the world to becoming a super mom to 3 babies over the past few years. Our kids are so blessed to be able to have you as their mom! We have both changed so much since that day 10 years ago. From two immature kids who didn’t know how to boil water to two slightly less immature kids raising 3 kids of their own. Here’s to the next 10 years! I love you Abby! by @rgrimaldi23

“Home” (Official Wedding Music Video) 💍
Today we celebrate 10 years of marriage, & I can’t think of a better way to reminisce than to share a wedding music video for the song I wrote about our marriage so many years ago. If you have been my friend for a while then you might remember when I originally released “Home” to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. At the time we had already moved so many times for my husband’s hockey career, & writing & releasing this song was the perfect sentiment to share. I don’t know if I’ve ever written a more lyrically meaningful song in my life!

Another 5 years later, & we’ve moved many more times. & somehow, this past year, we found ourselves living on the other side of the world in St. Petersburg, Russia, bumping our total up to 30 moves in 10 years of marriage. By God’s great kindness & grace, my marriage continues to be “home” to me. Our nomadic hockey life is unique, & through its twists & turns we’ve continued to grow the most beautiful bond in our marriage. Happy 2nd birthday to my best buddy! This year has brought so much change for you from moving to Russia to your twin sisters being born to all the different milestones you hit. Introducing our twin daughters, Valentina Noelle Grimaldi & Sofia Colette Grimaldi 🎀 Born an hour apart last Monday, our fraternal girls each entered the world in their own way, Valentina normally at 5 lbs 7 oz & Sofia via emergency c-section at 5 lbs 1 oz. After a week of hospital care, our girls are home & life begins as a family of 5. What precious gifts from God! 🤍 by @rgrimaldi23

I am saddened by this news, but am also celebrating the life that Pastor John MacArthur lived. This man has impacted my life so deeply and is someone I have looked up to.
