Bringing Schools Together Through Sport 🏉

It has been a busy few weeks for our Educational Partnerships programme, bringing together local schools through Sport and Physical Education.

We welcomed more than 70 primary school leaders for an insightful briefing led by Kate Thornton-Bousfield, CEO of the Association for Physical Education, before hosting 45 pupils from three local secondary schools for a Rugby Festival at Flagge Meadow.

Two fantastic events celebrating collaboration, learning and the power of Sport to bring communities together! by @rgs_worcester

🚴‍♂️💚 Cyclocross Success for Malakhi! 💚🚴‍♂️

Congratulations to Malakhi in Sixth Form, who achieved an impressive 4th place in his age group at the recent West Midlands Cyclocross League race in Meriden – his best result of the year so far!

The West Midlands Cyclocross League is a highly competitive series, attracting talented riders from across the country, including national-level competitors and even world champions in the women’s events.

Cyclocross is the discipline Malakhi enjoys most and where he first began racing many years ago. Next up, he heads to Princethorpe College this weekend, where the conditions promise the first proper mud of the season!

Looking further ahead, the first British Cycling National event.

Well done, Malakhi, on a fantastic result. We wish you the very best for the races ahead!
