Let me tell you a little bit about my girl. ❤️ @rh_designcollective

Last night, at the 2026 GRO Parade of Homes awards dinner, my gorgeous wife, Renée, and our very close friend, Niall Glavin, owner of Glavin Custom Homes LLC @glavinhomes, swept the People’s Choice Excellence in Show awards, winning all nine categories. That’s an incredible accomplishment, especially competing against a field of some of the best luxury home builders in Southwest Washington.

I know I keep telling you this, but I’m going to say it again. I am so incredibly proud of you, sweetie.

I had the privilege of watching firsthand just how much of your heart and soul you poured into The Copper Hearth. From the initial design and countless appointments to the collaboration, finishing touches, and even staging the home, you were invested in every detail. There were countless early mornings, long days, and late nights bringing this home to life which you did do beautifully.

And somehow, through it all, you continued to juggle other design projects while still showing up for our family every. single. day. I honestly don’t know how you do it, but I’m in awe of the way you do it all with so much passion, grace, and dedication.

Sweetie, we love you, we adore you, and we couldn’t be prouder of you. Your work ethic, your creativity, and the heart you put into everything you do are something so special. People get to see the beautiful home you created, but I get to see the incredible woman behind it every day.

Congratulations, love. You’ve earned every bit of this moment, and I hope you take a minute to soak it all in. You deserve it. ❤️ by @aaron.hicks83

Anyone who knows Niall Glavin knows the genuine care and pride he puts into his craft. He approaches every home as a true custom creation, focusing on thoughtful architectural design, solid construction, and spaces designed around how families actually live.

Last night, that dedication showed up in a big way. Glavin Homes swept every single People’s Choice award at the 2026 BIA GRO Parade of Homes for The Copper Hearth.

Watching thousands of people walk through those doors and connect with the work was incredible. A huge congratulations to Renee Hicks of RH Design Collective for her vision on the interiors, and to every trade partner who brought their best to the stonework, the millwork, and the grounds.

We’ve worked alongside Niall for years, but seeing him take home a full public sweep across a field of eight standout builders was something special.

The home is officially sale pending, and we couldn't be happier for Niall and the entire Glavin Homes team.

Well deserved, Niall.

More than 9,000 people walked through The Copper Hearth during the Gro Parade of Homes — 9,095, to be exact.

Of all those visitors, we asked a few to describe the home in just one word. The responses were pretty special:

Warmth. 🤎
Welcoming.
Cozy.
Livable.
Intentional.
Refined.
And, of course… 12/10.

Together, these words capture what we hoped would come through from the very beginning — a home that feels beautiful, but also deeply comfortable. Refined, but still inviting. Designed to be enjoyed, gathered in, and truly lived in.

We’re so grateful to everyone who walked through The Copper Hearth, and especially to those who took a moment to share their experience with us.

Photos give you a quick impression, but true craftsmanship lives in the details. When you tour a home of this scale, it is easy to focus on the footprint and miss the artisan touches that actually make a space feel elevated.

Take a closer look at a few subtle details throughout The Copper Hearth, from custom finishes to rich textures that set this home apart.

If you've been searching for a luxury home in Clark County where no compromises were made on quality, this is one you need to experience in person. Seeing how these materials come together in real life gives you a completely different perspective on how the home lives.

We are opening the doors as part of the Greater Vancouver Luxury Homes Annual Showcase, giving serious buyers and design enthusiasts a chance to explore the property at their own pace.

📅 When: Saturday, October 3
⏰ Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Where: 15723 NW 14th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98685

Kelly Winn will be at the home on Saturday to walk you through the layout, answer questions about the build, and help you decide if this is the right fit for your next move.

If you cannot make the open showcase hours or prefer a private walkthrough, send us a DM or give us a call.

Four bedrooms. Four different personalities.

One of the things we love about The Copper Hearth is that no two bedrooms feel quite the same.

Each of the four bedrooms is its own suite, with a bathroom designed to feel just as personal as the space it belongs to.

Take a little tour through all four suites and tell us — which one feels most like you?🤎

Come see them all during the final week of the Gro Parade of Homes.

A beautiful finished room starts long before the final reveal.

From setting the first line with a laser to carefully preparing and hanging each strip, wallpaper installation takes patience, precision and a skilled hand.

One of the many details that came together to create the finished bedrooms at The Copper Hearth.

What detail would you want to see behind the scenes?

Just before we opened the doors - a look at how The Copper Hearth became a home.

For The Copper Hearth, the final details were about creating a sense of warmth, comfort and connection — a home that feels elevated yet inviting, where you can picture gathering around the kitchen, settling in with family, or simply enjoying the quiet moments in between. It's the feeling we envisioned from the very beginning.

What’s the detail that makes a house feel like home to you?

What looks like a beautiful bookcase is actually the entrance to a hidden office.

Niall shares how the hidden door came together, including the custom book that opens it and the design choices that give the office its warm, English character.
