Hard to believe this was 8 years ago today. Raith was gracious enough to take us out which was our first time salmon fishing the river, and many more times after which created many memories I will hold forever.
This particular morning it was cold & i believe the fishing was getting tougher about this time in the season. After a few hours none of us had any luck & so with intentions of moving spots Mason started reeling his bait up & this big salmon whacked him out of nowhere! Masons first big river king and to this day it’s known as “Mason’s hole”. I got out with Raith over the weekend and he had a couple phone calls & put on speaker about 3 different people that mention Masons hole & it was the most amazing& humbling experience to hear that . Even a video sent to me with some of the guys out there this past week. Long live Mason & the infamous spot we’ll never forget. Thanks again @rh_guideservice love you brother. taken in Yuba City, California by @rh_guideservice
