Years later, I have found a beautiful community of storytellers to create those worlds with. This production is a dedication to my younger self who once felt alone and lost in her wild imagination, and to the people who proved she never truly was.” Xoxo Sophia 💟 by @rhapsody.court
Welcome to my fairytale 🧚‍♀️ Part 1! Once upon a time, I made a birthday wish. I wished to create a play. I wanted to direct, build a set, make costumes, and even star in the play. 🫢 This summer, with the help of my husband, friends, family, and creative community, I was able to make that wish come true. 💕 A special thank you to @aubreebellephotography for capturing the day perfectly 📸, and to my glam squad @savanahnormanmua , @makeupbysamanthaj , and @makeupby_jayci for making us all feel so beautiful 💄 Introducing: A Midsummer Night’s Dream 🌙 But first, some details ✨ The most magical cake created and imagined by @briarbakes_ 💜 The prettiest hand painted cookies I’ve ever seen @briarbakes_ !!! 💕 Art by @jessieparkerart & Graphics by @kategramcrackers 🎨 The set wouldn’t have been complete without this ethereal floral arrangement by @oliveandsagefloral 🌸 Welcome to Rhapsody Court Theater 🎭 @chadjayholmes helped me create the set of my dreams, and learned how to woodwork just for me 😚😚 The best scene partner I could have ever asked for ❤️ Playbill created and designed by the most talented @kategramcrackers !!!! You’re a genius I love you sm 😚😚😚 Never stopped playing make believe 🧚‍♀️ My fairies ✨ (+ Kova hehe) Guest of honor 🧚🏼 My beautiful Backstage Manager fairies ✨ @lexbuff @redhair_greeneyes ~Fairy milk break~ @lexbuff H2T in PP 🖤 @publicparts.co My talented friend @chloe.magleby flew all the way from NYC to not only dress some of the cast, but to help me with all my finishing touches. (She also convinced me to continue working on the play after I had fully given up 😭) I’m so lucky to have her! 🍀 No scenes with @thaddeusmaximus and me, but that will never stop us from stealing the show together ✨ Now gather ‘round, grab a slice from @briarbakes_ , the show is about to begin in Part 2!!! 🎭 by @rhapsody.court
