Another dreamy piece from my work with the @theofficialselfridges team this summer on such a creative project for Dream On — a season of creativity, imagination and original experiences.

I was asked to create a giant pink elephant bottom for one of the windows — we made it as big as we possibly could. :) 🐘💕
I drew and developed the sculpture in 3D, working out the scale, positioning and individual sections before bringing in my brilliant team to make it a reality.

@anarchitecture_fabrication and @greenpencil3d created the metal frame structure and @shopfloorwhore pattern-cut and draped layers of sheer pink voile to fit the form.

I made the cotton rope tail to add a contrasting texture amongst all the pink.

The Dream On windows are still up at Selfridges London, so go and check them out if you’re passing!

Really lovely to be working with the Selfridges team again this summer on such a creative project for Dream On - a season of creativity, imagination and original experiences.

I was asked to create a giant Brain Storm for the windows, developing and 3D visualising the initial design to scale before bringing it to life with nearly 200 metres of ruched organza and voile, and handmade lilac faux-fur pom-poms projecting out on silver spigots! 🧠

The Dream On windows are still up at Selfridges London, so go and check them out if you’re passing!

✨ CREED / Water Colours ✨

A series of underwater still lifes created for @creedfragrance Magazine, using the individual notes of each fragrance to create compositions of flowers, fruits and plants.

For each perfume, we developed a different arrangement around the bottle, with individually weighted flowers, fruits and plants floating underwater.

Artists in hiding! Had a catch up with awesome set designer and conceptual artist @rhea_thierstein this afternoon.
We first met years ago when I worked with @britishvogue before I moved to the USA. We discussed all sorts of art today from immersive performance through to high fashion and the future of authentic design.

Excited to share that 'Spring Awakening (2011)' by Rhea Thierstein will form part of "Vespid". Please come down to the @sevenoakskaleidoscope gallery between the 5th and 29th of August to see it and all the amazing work by the other artists taking part.

See the gallery website for full information about opening hours. Please note we will be closing at noon on the 29th to allow the exhibition to be deinstalled, but there will be an opportunity on the morning of the 29th to meet some of the participating artists and discuss their work.

There will also be a collage workshop for all ages on the 11th August 1330 to 1530.

On the 22nd August at 11am, Louisa Stefani @louisalovesleaves from UCL will be giving a talk about her BSc dissertation entitled "Can You Learn to Love Wasps?". ENTOGRAPHICA is now open in Bath!

A little glimpse into the making of Tiny Treasures in My Garden — the series I’m exhibiting at BRLSI until 25 February.
 Each piece is inspired by insects I’ve found, photographed and studied in my own garden, translated into small sculptural “specimens” through wire, paper, clay and painted acetate wings.

And… a surprise appearance: My giant papier-mâché wasps, originally created for Selfridges’ Bright Young Things in 2011, have come out of hibernation and joined the exhibition.

I’m so excited for people to experience the full show. If you’re near Bath, do pop in - it’s free entry and open Monday–Saturday 10am-4pm

A Blue Bottle fly isn’t something most people stop to admire - but when you do, it’s remarkable. Up close, they’re intricate and jewel-like, clever little seeing machines with incredible structure and iridescent shimmer.

Tiny Treasures in My Garden opens that door a little wider. These handmade sculptures are an invitation to take a second look - a gentle nudge toward wonder, empathy and appreciation. Through art, the micro-world below human perception becomes visible: insects shift from “nuisance” to vital, beautiful ecosystem heroes.

As part of the Entographic Collective, I’m exhibiting this work at ENTOGRAPHICA, where artists and scientists come together - observing, imagining and storytelling to rethink our relationship with the creatures that keep everything running.

Showing 2–25 February, BRLSI, with support from the Royal Entomological Society.

The Rosy Footman is one of the tiny visitors that frequents my garden in the summer months. I found this one in my moth trap and couldn’t believe its vivid, almost (tending) colour and unusual shape!

‘Tiny Treasures in My Garden’ is all about looking closer. These insects are often overlooked or misunderstood, yet when you pause for a moment, they reveal extraordinary beauty. Each piece is handcrafted to spark that moment of curiosity - that quiet shift in perception.

I’m excited to be part of the Entographic Collective, a group of artists exploring how art can reshape how we see insects not as something to swat away, but as wondrous, intricate, essential beings.

This piece will be shown in ENTOGRAPHICA, 2–25 February at BRLSI, with support from the Royal Entomological Society @royentsoc.

For the Disney x @theofficialselfridges Alice in Wonderland Christmas window, I created sculptural handcrafted snowdrop-inspired flowers using a mix of bleached and painted crepe and ink-washed lantern-style tissue-paper flowers. Some lit up!

All surrounded by beautiful lime-green glass-blown orbs by @vickyhigginson.

So lovely to have contributed to this Disney Christmas world of wonder. 🧚 A mix of magic, storytelling, craft and theatre — my favourite kind of project 🎭
