Overheard Christopher Nolanā€™s manager complaining about her narcissistic family. Celebrities: theyā€™re just like us. This weekend was one for the memories, saw chris nolanā€™s head, heard the funniest paparazzi names for Tom, saw crazy Spider-Man guest, 11/10 masti weekend šŸ‘½šŸ‘½ by @rheas.19
Will I travel to another country for music? You bet I will. @ritvications knows how to make a girl feel special on her birthday, couldnā€™t have asked for a better 25th birthday celebration šŸ’œ Zamna, babe, you were fantasticšŸ¦„ by @rheas.19
Every Egyptian I met thought I was Egyptianā€¦ honestly just assign me a pyramid and call me Hatshepsut. Some notes: - The Pyramids are huge, bigger than I couldā€™ve imagined and just as stunning (slightly more) than youā€™d think, being around them made me feel very small - cosmically and historically - I loved that feeling. - The Grand Egyptian Museum has perfectly captured its name, its grand, its Egyptian, its perfectly designed (and oh the gold, the gold..) - Egypt was kind enough to introduce me to its beautifully rustic artsy cafe and bookstore on Sufism, unfortunately for me I cannot read Arabic and couldnā€™t really pick up a book, no worries Iā€™ll be back with my Arabic brushed up. - I had the incredible pleasure of coming across a record store that sold everything music and so much more (think cameras that look like Coca Cola cans, typewriters, postcards written in 1930ā€™s to a British minister living in the embassy in Egypt) I got myself a record from the 80ā€™s that combined the disco hits in Egypt - I was pleasantly surprised to hear ā€˜Disco Deewaneā€™ as one of the remixed tracks. - Islamic Cairo made me question anything Iā€™ve ever called beautiful - As much as I am always open to trying every cultureā€™s food I must say the one Egyptian restaurant I want to was a disappointment, however the Lebanese - Palestinian food in Egypt was absolutely delicious. I hope to see you again soon Egypt, next time with a little more knowledge of Arabic and a little more time on my hands. šŸ©µ ā€ŽŲ“ŁƒŲ±Ų§Ł‹ by @rheas.19
Elvis (not Presley, my Bronx cabbie) swears on his life his grandpa said ā€˜If you can make it hereā€¦ā€™ before Sinatra. And tbh, I trust a Bronx cabbie over a Hollywood crooner any day. Anyway enjoy my New York diaries šŸ—½ by @rheas.19

2023 was the year I found out about the existence of the recenter button on Google maps, itā€™s been a good year šŸ«¶ by @rheas.19
Rutveeka, you were the first person to make me laugh as a baby(see picture #2), and that hasnā€™t changed one bit all these years; nobody makes me laugh like you do (cue piggy laugh). We can talk & laugh & bitch & gossip & deeply analyse emotions & the universe & give each other one look & know that yep sheā€™s singing that godforsaken song thatā€™s stuck in our heads without ever actually saying a word. Yes, I may have eaten my twin in the womb but itā€™s only because my real twin was already out there in the world. From our uncanny ability to sync up on any movie, TV show, music, or Instagram reel references to being each other's unwavering support system, I love what we have. It's strange, having a sibling, especially an older one. They take on roles of a parent, a best friend, a critic, and a cheerleader. You've managed to play all these roles in the most exceptional way possible, making me undoubtedly the luckiest person to have you as my older sister. Everyone says I'm mature for my age, but what they don't know is that youā€™re the biggest reason for this. How youā€™ve been there for me, treated me like an equal and always shared everything with me. You have also never failed to teach me new things, sometimes things I might have been too young for (so many scarring things oh god), but also some very important things like how to put on eyeliner (To everybody who has ever complimented me on my eyeliner skills, itā€™s because of the dazzling woman I share my parentā€™s blood with) Whatā€™s most important though, is that you are the person I have always looked up to; a constant source of inspiration. In "Gilmore Girls," Rory says in her speech that she doesn't know if Lorelai ever realized it, but the person she most wanted to be was her (Lorelai). Every time I watch her give that speech, I cry, not just because it's a beautiful speech, but because that's how I feel about you. You are and will always be my role model ā€“ the most hardworking, loving, funny, and beautiful person I know. Happy birthday to my best friend from day one. I love you beyond words can express, but I tried anyway. - love, Freva urf Frevanti by @rheas.19
Itā€™s surprising how often people in Kenya say Hakuna Matata to you. Finally lived out my lion king dreams šŸ¦ by @rheas.19
