Somewhere between the shadows and the smoke, something was forged.

Not a studio. Not a production team. Just a Friday after work in the woods outside Cleveland, a little imagination, and a whole lot of witchcraft. 🕯️

I photographed it. Styled it. Did the makeup. My friend @stone.rock.rock worked the smoke and lighting, and @kittie__legz brought the magic.

And the jewelry? Every bracelet, necklace, and pair of earrings was handcrafted by me.

This is what happens when you stop waiting for the perfect conditions and start creating your own world.

It’s been 2 years since I got the chance to photograph anyone on the jewelry I make and I’m so stoked that I finally got to meet and photograph @kittie__legz !

She’s wearing a pair of butterfly earrings, and our crescent necklace in this photo.

Both are available on my website for purchase.
Both are handmade from scratch and have been re worked a few times in more of my style of jewelry.

I hope you love the photos from this set I got to photograph!

Im slowly getting back into making jewelry.
Right now I’ve been focusing on learning lapidary, and working more with metal since I don’t have access to many bones anymore.

Here are 3 bracelets I worked on over the weekend. I cut and polished the stones that I set in these, I found them in the AZ desert!

The last month has really been a month.

My dad was rushed to the hospital for cognitive issues in April. We found out he had agressive stage 4 large B cell lymphoma tumors in his brain.

The doctors said we had a chance, so we chose to put my dad thru treatment. He was sent home for a night to be brought back the next day….

His cancer doubled in size and they started treatment immediately. It was the hardest thing for me to see, but I made it back home to Canada to see him for a few days.

He didn’t make it, and he passed away in the hospital on the 18th of last month. I wish he could have spent his last days where he wanted to be, at home and not the hospital. He kept saying it’s time to go home, and it broke my heart.

The day he passed awasy my mom collected some of his hair for me not knowing that I was thinking about making jewelry out of it.

This is my first time doing this, i watched a bunch of tutorials, I took my time to make sure I got this right and I still messed up a bit. 😔😒

Here is a #victorianmourninglocket I made out of my dads hair.

I miss that man so much thy my physical body hurts.
