What a win! So proud of our players and coaches for their grit, hard work and resilience in beating a really tough conference opponent on the road at Army. Thank you to all the Bulls fans that traveled to West Point! Such a special place and environment. Speaking of, thank you to Army for their amazing hospitality, and most importantly, for their incredible service to our country! Shoutout to @sg_mediafl for several of these photos, including the last two, which sum up a phenomenal pass and catch that capped off a total team effort and unforgettable comeback win. Onward! Can’t wait to see Bulls Nation at Ray Jay on Saturday night! LFGB!!!

Bulls Nation!!! Wow! For an event with a previous record attendance of 2k & that had also gone away in recent years to then have a record shattering showing (w/more than 10k tickets claimed) is a true testament to what is happening in this very moment at our alma mater. Thank you to all involved for making today so special, including our awesome student-athletes and coaches who were amazing with our fans as always! No better time to be a Bull to say the least. Let’s keep building together!!! 🤘🏻😤📈 by @rhiggins_usf

Loved helping host our “Green & Gold Insider Series” as well as show off our new home to several Iron Bulls this morning! We also had several of our Forever Bulls (former players) in the house for practice. Could not be more grateful for all of Bulls Nation’s incredible support of @usfathletics. We’re focused hard on raising the bar & making it a world-class experience for all involved! Go Bulls!!!🤘🏻😤📈 by @rhiggins_usf

For as long as he can remember, Rob Higgins (@rhiggins_usf) could look to the stands and find his dad.

Whether he was playing, coaching or leading a major sporting event, Jack Higgins was always there cheering him on.

Then, in 2024, everything changed.

After noticing blood in his urine, Jack was diagnosed with bladder cancer and began treatment at Moffitt. During one of his appointments, a conversation about their family's cancer history prompted Rob to schedule his first colonoscopy at age 45.

He expected a routine screening and instead, doctors found a 4-centimeter tumor.

With diagnoses just two months apart, father and son suddenly found themselves on the same journey. They attended appointments, checked in on each other daily and balanced being both patients and caregivers at the same time.

"It was very surreal," Rob recalled. "Coming out of radiation and seeing my dad waiting for his radiation."

Today, both have completed treatment and continue their survivorship journey together.

Their journey is a reminder that cancer doesn't always come with warning signs—which is why staying up to date on recommended screenings matters.

Colorectal cancer screening is recommended starting at age 45 for most adults. If you have a family history or other risk factors, you may need to start earlier.

Drop a 💚 to show your support!
