To my son,

Today would have been my Father, your grandfather’s,102 birthday. I wish that you two could have met on this physical plane. He was a man’s man. He was a drummer, artist, athlete, and “father” to many. He gave to those in need without fanfare. He contracted Tuberculosis, and at that time there was no cure; you just died. He told the doctors that he would walk out cured, and in two years he did. He came out of the army with feet so bad, he was told he would never walk again. After a year, he walked- and then he ran- softball, basketball, handball. He worked hard, and provided for his family. He passed away doing what he loved, playing handball on his day off. We have that same blood. I love you ♥️ by @rhilrs

I am filled with love, humility, and gratitude to all those who shared with me their thoughts on my birthday. Of course I spent two days on the water fishing off the coast ofCape Cod as my birthday gift.. We slept overnight on the boat, near to a family of Humpback whales. God blessed me with an abundance of fish, and new friends. I return to you the love which you freely chose to give me. May God keep you healthy and protected ♥️ by @rhilrs

Celebrating 65 years of life in this side. A nice breakfast in West Yarmouth, Ma. There was a time in my life when I never thought I would see this age. But God ! by @rhilrs

I have had this passion/connection to the water, and fishing since I was five years old. God has blessed me over and over again in every area of my life. I am so glad that he gave me this love. I was joined by my son, and two other young men. Many memories were made. by @rhilrs
