🚨 New N/A Stick Shift 5th Gen Record 🚨

After an ton of broken parts and failed attempts, we finally got it ! The main challenges were getting the RPS to slip because of its aggressive engagement and now we have that down. Now to tackle the gear-lockout of the tranny, 6060 seems to get a little unhappy around 8100 rpm and sometimes locks me out, but we have some things that we are going to try that will hopefully alleviate that issue. We should be out there within the next few weeks to hopefully pushed the record down a bit further.

But with a missed shift and all we still managed to reset the record from a 10.63 @ 132 with our 10.57 @ 135.
DA for the record pass was 1710ft at 77*.

None of this, and I mean none of this would have been possible without my boys and parts from only the best companies.

N/A M6 5th Gen vs. Whipple M6 5.0

Something about racing a stick car vs. another stick car just hits different! Was cool meeting @carlos_turbos and getting some runs in. His car is full weight and not pullied aggressively at all so I’m sure that thing is going to get much quicker as he progresses through his journey! Looking forward to seeing it kick some ass out there!

5th Gen N/A Stick Shift Record Reset and @cadillac_attack_race Recap!

As usual it was a badass event!

We were able to reset the record just by a little bit, but hey, it’s progress to our main goal which is now, to be the first N/A Stick Shift 5th gen in the 9s. The first few runs the same thing kept happening in the 1-2 shit so in order to not risk any more runs I ended up making the shift slightly slower than the other shifts and around 7300-7500 instead of the usual 8000 rpm shifts.

In short we reset the record from a 10.575 @ 135 mph to a 10.511 @ 137 mph in similar air. 77* and 1347 DA vs. 75* and 1497 DA from the last outing.

The absolute best part about this whole trip was the fact that we were able to be out here with my brothers, all the cars made it on and off of the trailers under their own power, and best of all, all three of the cars gave everyone something to talk about. @pritty_performance_racing ended up making it to the finals and unfortunately pushed through the converter, @ronaldbecerra_ Won the N/A Class, and I made it to the semi-finals and my Underdrive Pulley sheared the bolts during the burnout (fault of no-one but my own). Had it not been for that, it would have been an all @gwatneyperformance final in the N/A Class. And our crew chief doing his thang per usual @shadow_z06 .

The memories are priceless and we are still on the journey to be the first N/A Stick-Shift 5th gen in the 9s! taken in Orlando Speed World Dragway by @rhino__376
