637 days in rescue. Cody has known nothing but love since he arrived here in Rhode Island but foster care is NOT forever! Please share!!! Cody is house and crate trained and a gentleman in the home🎩. He loves playing with toys and balls inside and outside and loves walks, he’s been taking strolls at Beavertail and Goddard Park lately and is so happy to sniff and smell the breeze! Three legs do not slow him down and he is a happy and healthy dog who loves to run and be goofy . He will turn 2 years old in June 🎂- please apply for him and let’s give him the best birthday gift ever, a forever family! 💫Apply at rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form #adoptdontshop #dogsofrhody #rescuedismyfavouritebreed #adoptapet #alwaysadopt taken in Rhode Island by @rhodehomerescue

Dear Bailey, What can we say that hasn’t been said in our dozens upon dozens of posts over the past 2 years? You deserve a family to treasure you, a dog friend to teach you, a couch to call your very own. We hope our community continues to share you, and one day a very special and dedicated, patient person will come along to love you. Till then, your foster family will fill the gaps and show you how special you are 💕. Love, your rescue humans Learn more about Bailey here: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/46896469-warwick-rhode-island-rottweiler-mix taken in Rhode Island by @rhodehomerescue

🚨🐾 LAST CALL FOR SUPER DOG FOSTERS! 🐾🚨 We’re starting to PANIC over here! 😳💔 Dogs need to be selected THIS WEEKEND to make next week’s transport, and right now, we have FAR too few pups lined up for their freedom rides! 🥺 On November 7th, we’ll be joining hundreds of adoptable dogs, rescues, veterinarians, trainers, food trucks, and more at Always Adopt’s Super Dog Adoption Day at @clarkfarmsri ! 🍂🐶 It’s one of the BIGGEST adoption events of the year and an incredible opportunity for our dogs to find their forever families. But here’s the catch… we can’t get them there without YOU. 💔 🏡 We need foster homes NOW! 🚐 Transport arrives October 23rd! 🐾 Super Dog Adoption Day is November 7th! Fostering doesn’t have to be forever to change a life. Even a short-term commitment could be the difference between a dog getting their freedom ride or being left behind. We have the opportunity to save SO many lives, but we need homes to make it happen! ❤️ 💕 Please, open your heart and home. Be someone’s stepping stone to forever. 🐾 APPLY TO FOSTER TODAY: rhodehomerescue.org/foster Can’t foster? SHARE THIS POST! You never know who might be able to help us save a life. 🐶❤️ by @rhodehomerescue

Move over, pumpkin spice… there’s a NEW fall favorite in town, and he’s extra sweet, a little spicy, and guaranteed to warm your heart! 🧡 Meet Chai, our 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy who is growing faster than your favorite coffee shop’s fall drink lineup! ☕🍁 This handsome boy is basically the PERFECT puppy, but don’t let his adorable face fool you… he’s going to be one BIG cup of Chai! 🤭 🐾 4 months old and growing FAST! 🐾 Great with kids, dogs AND cats! 🐾 Playful, sweet, and full of puppy energy! 🐾 Would LOVE a playful canine sibling to romp around with! 🐾 Looking for a house with plenty of room to stretch those (soon-to-be very long) legs — no apartments for this big guy! Chai is the perfect blend of sweet, playful, and lovable, and he’s ready to spice up someone’s life forever! 🥹🤎 🍁 Forget the pumpkin spice latte… Chai is the only fall favorite you need! 🏡 Apply to adopt: rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form #adopt #chai #germanshepherd #rhodehomerescue #whatsgoingoninrhodeisland by @rhodehomerescue

🐾 Meet Tootie! Your future cuddle buddy is waiting! 💙 At 5 months old and 27 pounds, Tootie is still growing, but he’s already a PRO at giving cuddles! 🥹 This sweet, gentle soul is happiest when he’s close to his favorite person and would love nothing more than to be your four-legged shadow. Tootie gets along with other dogs, sleeps through the night like a champ, and is working on his house training as he learns all about being the best family pup. 🐶 With his loving personality and endless cuddles to give, he’s ready to find a family who will help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be! Looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through it all? 🐾 Meet Jack, the little firecracker ready to jump right into your heart! ❤️ At just 5 months old and 20 pounds, Jack is an adorable bundle of personality who’s still growing! This playful guy loves to romp around with his dog friends, play hard, and then crash hard with some serious snuggle time. 🥰 Jack is already sleeping through the night like a champ in his foster home and is working on his house training. He’s still learning that fingers aren’t chew toys, so a forever home without young children would be the best fit while he works on his puppy manners. If you’re looking for a fun-loving pup who brings equal parts playful chaos and cuddly sweetness, Jack might just be your perfect match! 💙 Ready to welcome this cutie into your family? Apply to adopt Jack today! 🐶 #AdoptDontShop #RescuePuppy #AdoptableDog #RhodeHomeRescue #PuppyLove by @rhodehomerescue
