Just an honest 20 minutes of work, mirrors are one of my favorite things to do! And this one came out incredibly clean 🧼

This car was HARD. Like Mini Coopers the rubbers around the window trims are super solid and can’t be lifted to tuck the vinyl underneath I had to pre relax the film to achieve the film not retracting. But really, film just reacts to heat and cold and will eventually pull back just a tiny tiny bit. I did everything possible to prevent it and together with the customer we’re gonna wait and see what’s going to happen in the long term!

This part luckily not so hard, small pre stretch around the corners and a nice post heat will make do!

Third-generation sign industry. First-generation business owner.

Rhody Rocks built Sign District through setbacks, reinvention and a lot of learning along the way. Read her story, from starting with an old plotter and a few thousand dollars to building the shop and career she once only imagined.

See the full Women of Wraps feature starting on page 28 of the October issue. Link in bio.

🖤WOW feature of the month 🖤

You must be living under a rock if you don’t know Rhody Rocks 😉

As a third generation industry member, wrapping was always a part of her. The path was not always clear or easy. Rhody opens up about dropping out of school, feeling lost, struggling with her mental health, and finding her way back.

The comeback is one of my favorite parts.

There’s so much more to someone’s story than what you see. She is a reminder that sometimes you have to get a little lost before you figure out where you’re going.

Go check out her full feature in @wrapfamunleashed and get to know the woman behind Rhody Rocks. ❤️

0.12 is what you came for. The last piece going down on this corvette! Customer told me it wasn’t really necessary to wrap all the way down behind the wind catcher since there was something broken and he could remove the part without breaking some stuff further.

I told him better safe than be sorry indeed, but that I was going to do my best to make it as sleek as possible. So after a good 15 minutes of fiddling around and taking care not to damage the wind catcher I wrapped down as far as I possibly could and am very satisfied!

The devil is in the details!
