Cover-ups are never a simple “go over what’s already there” appointment. There are a lot of important conversations and decisions that have to happen first.

We have to look at the previous artist’s work, the depth of the old pigment, what technique was previously used, how closely the existing hair strokes are placed, and whether there is enough space to safely add new strokes without creating an even darker or more saturated brow.

It’s also important that my client understands that I can’t make existing pigment lighter by adding more pigment. What I can do is adjust the shape, color, balance, and overall appearance as much as the existing work allows. Like her brows here one is way higher than other so dropping and lifting them to even them out. If the brows are still too dark for what they ultimately want, removal may be the next conversation.

For this client, I also had to take into consideration how much her previous work had shrunk and changed over time when deciding where and how to place the new work.

Cover-ups can be challenging, but with realistic expectations and a thoughtful approach, they can be a really good step for someone who isn’t quite ready for removal.

Nano Powder Brows! Soft, subtle, and natural.

When it comes to permanent brows, I always recommend easing your way in. You can always go bolder, darker, or bigger later but starting soft gives you time to get comfortable with your new shape.

The goal isn’t to completely change your brows. It’s to enhance what you already have, add definition where you need it, and give you effortless brows every morning. ✨

My first Lake Oswego Wine Walk 🍷🤍

This was seriously so much fun and so right up my alley. I got to open the doors to Virago and meet so many amazing people in the Lake Oswego community, I had the pleasure of having @absnkids_misslakeoswego2027 stop by, and host @henryestatewinery with some incredible wine.

Such a fun night getting to share my space, my business, and meet so many new faces. Definitely not my last Wine Walk.

Such a beautiful girl!

Peep those brows healing at just 2.5 weeks so soft and subtle already. I got to check on them while we did her lippies today and I’m in love with how everything is coming together!

It’s crazy how such small, subtle changes can make such a huge impact on the way your face is framed. The right shape, placement, and colors that complement you can make all the difference while still looking completely natural.

Soft, subtle brows, no harsh lines, no overfilling, and not too many hair strokes. We keep the first session soft and natural, then when she comes back, we can add more or adjust anything that needs it.

It’s the best way to avoid overdoing your brows. You can always add more later. 🤍
