Last week, @jailenjosey released her debut album ‘Serial Romantic’ on @defjam. I was fortunate enough to work on the art/concept direction and design for the album, front and back covers and the wider campaign.

The album was released to much acclaim with notable co-signs and packed out listening parties on both coasts of the US. It charts the story of the multiple facets of one person in the pursuit of love and genuine human connection.

Custom display typography, physical and digital album packaging, posters and additional ephemera for Brian Hingerty’s stellar 2024 release, ‘Music for Limbo’ via
‘The Garden Shed’.

Brian recorded the album on a singular roll of tape, in a fluid, chronological motion, adding to it sporadically. The ‘Limbo Display’ type attempts to depict and emphasise this unique process.

Music for Limbo is available to stream or purchase on cassette.

The night brings together a diverse collective of creatives across theatre, music, and film, championing voices that are so often unheard. This graphic was featured as part of the ‘Ban Fossil Fuel Advertising and Sponsorships’ campaign. The petition received the required one-hundred thousand signatures and was debated in Parliament on July 7th, 2025.
