North Carolina trip is a wrap. I’m dubbing it the unc rally
Convoyed with my father in law and friends to see the wheels through time museum. I didn’t get hardly any pics of the museum sadly, phone was dead. But what an incredible place. I wasn’t sure I’d actually like it since it’s mostly a Harley museum, but I was pleasantly surprised. It didn’t make me a Harley guy, but I do kind of get what old people like about them a little bit.

Hit the tail while we were there, was super rainy. Was quite a riding challenge, I’d never tried to push it in the rain before. Motorcycles do better in the rain than you’d think, I was still making a decent pace. Learned quite a bit.
I absolutely love the tail. It’s such a magical place to me. I will probably be going every year for the rest of my life. One day I’ll rip the roads just like the locals. by @rhyswolfgang

CCA class of 2016 10yr reunion. We missed a couple people, but most of us made it. Those of us that didn’t make it were sorely missed. but it was great seeing everyone, it seems like we’ve all made pretty great lives for ourselves. Proud of everyone. by @rhyswolfgang

30yr anniversary screening of the end of evangelion, me and my adoring and very cool wife dressed up a little for it. Couple other people did as well. My skill with a camera does not do my beautiful wife and her costume justice it was actually pretty good! Mine was really simple so I don’t get much credit. by @rhyswolfgang

What a weekend! I had a ton of fun until I discovered that I’ve been riding on the edge of a crash for this entire year. Bikes too low in the front, added a smidge too much lean to get a good picture for killboy and ended up getting a much better series of photos instead lol.

Bike is actually ok, just needs new plastics (needed new ones anyway) I just have a minor knee scrape and a little road rash. Everything worked out.

The hayabusa will return next season looking better and with about 1-2 inches more front ride height so this doesn’t happen again. Look forward to the next dragon trip! taken in Tail of the Dragon by @rhyswolfgang

First trip to the tail of the dragon in the grey RX-7 for deals gap rotary rally. Was a ton of fun, broke a shock and a radiator the latter I had to repair with superbikes and Porsches running the road at full tilt on the side of the road.
So many awesome cars there the atmosphere at the dragon is insane, it’s not actually a road it’s a public access race track really. Cannot wait to go again.
Thank you to my beautiful wife @elizabethh.oberding who even drove it in her beetle as fast as she could (decently fast actually too lol) couldn’t have done it without her :)
