I was recently asked, “What would be your perfect job?”

My answer is simple: helping people.

The reason I chose this career is because I truly believe it’s God’s work to serve families and help them protect what matters most.

I’m unemployable.

Seriously.

Once you realize that your income is directly tied to the value and skill set you bring to the marketplace, it’s hard to imagine spending the rest of your life building someone else’s dream while putting your own on hold.

I don’t want to spend my life waiting for permission, hoping for a raise, or letting someone else decide what my future is worth.

In the past two months, Mackenley has gone from an 85% contract to a 95% contract.

That may not sound like a big deal to most people, but it’s a huge accomplishment.
