POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Have you ever felt strained trying to stop your handpan from slipping off your lap? How about the annoyance of the pan constantly shifting positions while playing?

Rhythm Rest is your solution.

Our patented pending handpan grips magnetically attach to the bottom of your handpan, providing a non-slip grip between your pan and your legs, keeping your handpan exactly where it's supposed to be. 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

As an added bonus, Rhythm Rest also acts as a buffer between your handpan and hard surfaces, allowing you to set it down without worrying about scratching or damaging the pan. ☁️

And being that they're magnetic, they're non-permanant and won't damage your pan with any adhesives or sticky residues. This also makes them easily swappable from one handpan to the next. 🧲

It was an absolute honor sharing the last 6 days with this beautiful human, and so many others, at the Pantam Residence Retreat in Portugal. Thank you for sharing your time, your presence, your heart and your soul with us. The lessons learned here span FAR beyond musical implementation and will be carried with me for my entire existence on my path to become a better human. Thank you, @kabecaohandpan, and all of the other amazing family that I've had the joy of connecting with. You all have a very special place in my heart. ❤️ 🛸 taken in Colmeal, Coimbra, Portugal by @rhythmrest

Blooming | Harnek Singh & Matt Bigelow |

A flower doesn’t close off simply because a storm passes through. It continues spreading its natural aroma to the world—it trusts that the conditions and experiences that come its way were meant for it

The winds remind it of the strength in its roots; from the clouds, it learns patience—to sit still and move through darkness without expectation; and in this seemingly hostile environment, the rains nourish the flower, leading to its eventual growth

To bloom doesn’t mean that everything is suddenly perfect and comfortable

It means that even in the face of adversity, you are willing to remain open and curious. In each moment, you can ask yourself ‘What possibilities are here for me right now?’

To bloom doesn’t mean you never feel the emotion of fear— it simply means in every moment, you are willing to be Present. To confront, not run away from, your darkness

To bloom is to fully trust and open to the Unfolding of the Universe

Struggling with your handpan falling off your lap? Rhythm Rest Grips are a quick, simple and effective solution.

Our grips are magnetic (which means NO glues), can be swapped from pan to pan, and can be left on your handpan when using a carrying case.

They even double as a buffer between your handpan and the ground, allowing you to set the pan down on hard surfaces without damaging your instrument.

I snapped this photo at sunset in Da Nang when filming the other day and I had to post it here as a super important shout-out to @rhythmrest

You might not think of it at first when looking at this photo but my handpan is resting on top of a jagged mound of rocks and sea shells. And guess what? The port is completely fine, not a scratch.

Of all of the gear that I travel with to play handpan and make videos around the world I am not exaggerating when I say that this pocket sized accessory is literally the most important thing I take. Not having to place my handpan back into its case every moment between takes makes my life 10x easier and being able to safely put it on the ground anywhere for shots like this is a game changer. Seriously, I forgot to bring one when I was living in Guatemala and it was a major inconvenience.

So yeah @rhythmrest Cool product made by a cool dude. Go get one 😝

I honestly wish I knew about Rhythm Rests sooner. I cant tell you how many times I have had a handpan slide as I was playing it or when I was sitting it down somewhere I froze up hoping it wouldn't scrape the bottom of the pan.

Well with Rhythm Rests all of that is resolved. The pan stays put in your lap and placing it down on the floor or anywhere creates a cushion for your pan avoiding scratches and unbalance. They just magnitize to your pan and bam.

Best thing too is if you use my link: You get 15% off.

My promise to you as not only a pan artist but a guy literally stoked this exists that you will be like... oh this makes sense and Im glad I got this.
