In the Sahara, around every corner is something magical waiting to be discovered..... #saharadesert #moroccotours #saharadesertmorocco #desertcamp The sand obviously.... the colours, the light, the stillness, the overwhelming feeling of other worldliness We stayed at the premium @riadmaducamp wow what a once in a lifetime experience Mum and Dad chillin Just before sunset after arriving by camel 1 hour 20 ride from drop off Our beautiful 'haima' ( tent). Tent really doesn't describe this luxury! AC, hot showers, bathroom, flushing toilet, luxury bed linen, rugs, lighting..it is incredible Divine Moroccan craftsmanship everwhere Mum enjoying a rose... you can byo wine and beer, and they supply the fridge and ice 🥂 We stocked up en route in Midelt but you can also in Errachidia too. Like little Bottle-O shops 😜 Dad and Soufiane 3 course dinner in the dining tent if you will ♥️ One of the lovely guys who looked after us, and was on the drums later Set up for music and dancing... the video of us girls trying to play the drums will never see the light on the socials 🤣 Morning textures Now this is glamping!♥️ taken in Sahara Desert, Morocco by @riadmaducamp

M’Barka is part of the kitchen at Madu. Her work is present in the balance of the dishes, in the way flavours are built, and in the timing of each preparation. She brings knowledge rooted in traditional desert cooking, shaped by experience and daily practice. Many of the recipes come from that combination, between a more structured cuisine and local understanding. Mohamed prepares it the traditional way, pouring it several times from a height to mix the tea, mint and sugar, and to create its characteristic foam. It is served in small glasses, often in three rounds, as the flavour continues to evolve. Across Morocco, the preparation varies by region. In the desert, it remains closely connected to daily life. At Madu, this is how tea is still prepared and shared. ----- En la cultura bereber, la preparación del té sigue un ritual preciso. Mohamed lo prepara de la manera tradicional, vertiéndolo varias veces desde cierta altura para mezclar el té, la menta y el azúcar, y crear su característica espuma. Se sirve en vasos pequeños, normalmente en tres rondas, a medida que el sabor evoluciona. En Marruecos, su preparación varía según la región. En el desierto, sigue muy ligada a la vida cotidiana.
