when we were young 24 done and in the books. my favorite music with my favorite people. emo forever. by @riaeliza

an absolute honor for my piece “psychopomps” to be a part of @jc_artandstudiotour and @arts14c’s group exhibition “tangled up in blue.” it is on view at the newport centre until october 6.

after more than a decade away from art, i rediscovered my identity as an artist this summer. after a long, long deep slumber i awoke with bleary eyes, blinking away the sleep, to become the fullest version of me. the acceptance into this exhibition has filled me with utter confidence and validation to be an artist once again.

i want to thank many people, but firstly my ley line best friend @isabellemaree for the endless encouragement and bugging me to submit to the this exhibition in the first place. without their unwavering constant belief in me, i never would have applied having been too scared of being told no. but they believed in me, like they always do, and here we are. thank you thank you thank you.

next, thank you to my stars @soda.yes. without him, this voyage never would have set off in the first place. his fall into and enthusiasm for photography sparked me to return back to art in the first place. truly none of this would have happened without him. i am eternally thankful. being in a relationship with a creative (let alone one with rampant adhd) is difficult but he has given me endless patience, support, and love. including making me apply the day of the deadline while we were on vacation LOL. i love you i love you i love you.

if you made it this far in the caption: thank you to you too!!! my dear ones have been so supportive and thank you for caring enough about what i’m up to to read this far. you rock!!

and if you want to buy some of my art irl please stop by my booth at @handmademarket_jc jcast edition this sunday october 6th!!! if you can’t make it or just wanna keep up with my art give me a follow over at @caeruleusrex
