Chef. Rider. Founder.

I'm Chef Ria, and SALÓ is where all three meet.

As a Chef, I believe every dish has a story worth telling.
As a Rider, I know a city looks different from the back of a bike. As an Entrepreneur, I built SALÓ to bring the two together: the Philippines' First Motorcycle Food Tour. 🇵🇭

Every route, I ride first. Every plate, I taste first. Then I bring you along.

Always love, love, LOVE shooting documentaries, moreso when our subject is a badass girly like Chef @riagarciaa 👩🏻‍🍳✨

I see so many similarities between being behind the camera and being in the kitchen. Both demand so much instinct, precision, and the ability to make split-second decisions under pressure. Timing is everything and you have to be able to anticipate what comes next while staying present in the moment. There’s so much coordination happening behind the scenes and when everything comes together, the final output makes it all look effortless.

Ang galing to witness women thriving in their own industry and to see how much our worlds mirror each other. Always a joy to document women who are good at what they do! 💅🏽
