Spent a few much needed days relaxing at the lake with Patty Hedemark. Kayaking, swimming, hanging out at the beach, eating lobster rolls, getting caught in a downpour and recharging in the sun was a nice change from the classroom. And it’s even better with a partner in crime who can appreciate this special time of year when we get to put our “teacher selves” away for the summer. Shoutout to Jim Bey for hanging out with and taking our favorite four-legged fur-boy on some long walks while I had the best girl’s days in Michigan . 🏖️☀️🕶️⛱️🩱😎🐾♥️ by @riaroca

We are going to miss having Josh home this summer. He’s moved into a house he will share with three of his teammates for the next few years and will be training at IU for the summers now. Fortunately, he will have time to work while he’s there. Up until now, Josh has never had enough time for both swimming and working over the summer, but being in Bloomington has changed that with options to both train and work. He will be spending some of his downtime speaking at swim camps and teaching swim lessons. He’s so excited to have this opportunity and really enjoyed his first day working with kids at Indiana Swim Camp. I couldn’t be prouder 😊♥️🤍 by @riaroca

It was a busy weekend with a quick trip to IU to see Josh swim and show his sister around campus. Loki held down the fort at home with his BFF Jim Bey, supervising the Christmas tree setup. Thanksgiving weekend flew by, but we managed to squeeze in visits with family and friends in just a few days. He even had time to reconnect with his high school swim team friends. ♥️🤍Christmas vacation can’t come soon enough. We miss him so much already. by @riaroca

What a perfect weekend visiting this guy and seeing how well he is doing balancing classes, swim practices, studying and more swim practices. The Hoosiers first dual meet was a success and needless to say, Josh couldn’t be happier. Me too. ♥️🤍 by @riaroca
