My first roll on my first manual film camera, and it couldn’t have coincided with a better place and time. Here are some shots from Quito and Baños, places that had come to mean a lot to me after spending a chunk of my childhood visiting. Ecuador has adopted the place Venezuela would have had in my life, if not for the last few decades and everything that has made it difficult to return. All that to say, the bit of me that isn’t Venezuelan will always be Ecuadorian, and I’m very grateful for that.
P.S. shout out to my brother for posing in the rain after an hour of horseback riding for the first shot, I think it’s my favorite I’ve ever taken. by @ribsring
