Day 22 💰 What is Budgeting?

Today we got ready for one of the most important money habits — **budgeting**.

We created four jars: Saving, Investing, Spending, and Giving. 🏦

From tomorrow, we’ll start using these jars to help him learn how to divide his money with purpose instead of spending it all at once.

Small habits built in childhood can become lifelong financial habits. ❤️

Here is the reason why I created this page. ❤️🌻
For parents like me... who want to prepare their child for a world that is changing so fast.

One small lesson.
One small conversation.
One day at a time...

Let me introduce myself. I’m Yogesh Sharma.
I failed in 3 businesses.

I made mistakes.
Lost money.
Doubted myself more times than I can remember.
There was a time when I earned 1500 Rupees a month in early days.

But I also kept going.

Today, I run a business that has been doing just fine for the last 4 years.

And looking back, I realize that my biggest lessons never came from success.

They came from failure. And I’m still learning, trying and doing things.

That is why I am teaching my 7-year-old son about money, business, taking risks and decision making from an early age.

Not because I want him to avoid failure.
But because I want him to know that failure is never the end.

It is simply part of the journey.

Day 46 — Which Assets should we invest in? 💰

Today we talked about 3 key investing rules.
Before putting money into any asset, ask yourself:

Do I understand this asset? 🧠
Do I understand the risks involved? ⚠️
Will this still have demand 10–20 years from now? 📈

You don’t need to invest in anything where everyone is running to chase.

Sometimes, knowing what NOT to invest in is just as important as knowing what to invest in.

Start with understanding.
Think long-term.
And never invest blindly.

For our own investing journey, we currently use:
📈 Vested
📈 INDmoney

These both apps allow us to access US-listed stocks from India.

But remember, the app is only the tool.

The bigger lesson you want your child to learn is learn smart money habits, how to understand a business, think long-term, manage risk and know what they are investing in. 🪴💰
