Sunday, I had the honor of sharing the message, “Time Under Tension: The Pressure That Produces a Perfected Prayer and Praise” from Job 1:1–22 and Job 2:9. Every moment of tension, every trial, and every tear was preparing me for this assignment.There was a time I never thought I’d stand behind the pulpit. Before I preached, I wrestled with feelings of being unworthy, questioned the call on my life, and wondered if what God had spoken would ever come to pass. But God has a way of using pressure to produce purpose.This post isn’t for clout—it’s to prove God right about who He called me to be.Thank you to my incredible Pastor, First Lady , my beautiful wife, my amazing boys, and my church family for believing in me, praying for me, and walking this journey with me. Blessed, grateful, and deeply honored for the opportunity to serve as a drummer at the COGIC National Women’s Convention. To share the stage with such anointed giants, gifted musicians, and powerful singers was a moment I’ll never forget. Also glad to see my people from my hometown the Midwest Naptown 317.This week was also a reminder of God’s faithfulness—He not only opened doors for ministry, but He spared my life when an 18-wheeler ran me off the road. By His grace, I’m still here.
