Today I close one of the most memorable chapters of my life. The 2 years of this B.ed journey is on its way to end.
When I first thought of pursuing this degree I didn’t thought I would crack the entrance in my very first attempt. But by the grace of God I cleared it and got admitted to Biswanath College of Education💚🌷

But in the mid time my maa’s health was started deteriorating and it got more worsen before my 1st year final examination. After a while she couldn’t even move from her bed and doctor had declared that she was on her last stage of liver failure.
At that moment my world has really turned upside down. It seemed so difficult for me to continue my studies as I am the eldest daughter and had to look my sibling along with all the household chores. Treatment was going on and I wasn’t even able to attend my regular classes due to our frequent visit to medicals. She too had a surgery which cost almost around 12-13 lakhs. Our financial condition went down.

After 2 months her condition turned more worsen and on 2nd june she already went to Coma. I immediately got call from papa who asked me to come home and see Maa for the very last time. But unfortunately I couldn’t💔And by the 5th of June, 2025 Maa left us forever. 💐

After sometimes my younger sibling cleared Paramedical entrance and got admitted to the Department of Dialysis Technologist at Dibrugarh AMCH and left for her further studies. As a medical student it was difficult for her to visit home even on her holidays.

Papa was left all alone at home with my Aaita who is about 85 years old. Life showed its true colour.

Despite facing all these ‘thick and thin’ somehow I managed to continue my studies without stopping. And now I’m in my last month of my B.ed journey.

All thanks to papa, my sister @richitaa._ and the love of my life @_dibyajyotiphukan_ ♥️for constantly being with me. And at last but not the least @manoshi_das_ @antarikha_gogoi and Sukanya_Borah these fellow crackheads never failed to make me laugh and cry by their side🫶🏻
And indeed yes I am truly proud of myself for how far I have come and carried these 2 years of journey with a big smile on my face.

Bless me ‘MAA’ 🤍 by @richa_borah_
