@sharmila_barve , thank you so much for making this happen. You took so much effort to get this little gathering together, called us from Navi Mumbai and made sure we could all meet at MCA Club. I know it takes a lot of planning and effort to get everyone together, and I truly appreciate that you did it. ❤️

It was such a nice afternoon — good food, easy conversations, lots of laughter and just being together. Nothing fancy, just a small and really happy get-together. 🌸

And @vijayalaxmichhabra , it was so lovely meeting you. Thank you for spending your afternoon with us and for being so warm and easy to talk to. Meeting you and hearing you share your thoughts made the afternoon even more special. 🙏❤️

Onam Sadya & a Celebration of Culture 🌼✨

Onam is more than a festival—it is a celebration of abundance, gratitude, togetherness and the return of King Mahabali, whose reign is remembered as a time of prosperity, equality and happiness. 🌿💛

One of my friends beautifully brought the spirit of Onam into their society by inviting us all to experience the warmth of an Onam Sadya—a traditional feast served on a banana leaf, with an array of flavours symbolising abundance and celebration. 🍃✨

What followed was even more special—an afternoon filled with dance, music, instrumental performances by the little ones, laughter and countless photographs. ❤️ The kind of celebration that reminds you how festivals bring a community together beyond cultures and traditions.

And of course, I had my own little Onam moment! 🤍

I chose a beautiful off-white Mul Cotton saree @theloomsaree , paired with a Kantha blouse @aestheticsyb , giving the whole look a subtle aesthetic look. I accessorised it with temple jewellery from Mom’s closet—a little piece of nostalgia and love. ✨

A classic bun adorned with jasmine gajra and a single rose completed the look, keeping it effortlessly traditional yet graceful. 🌹🌿

From a beautiful Sadya to soulful music, little performers and endless memories—this Onam celebration was truly about culture, community and the joy of being together. 💫

Some chapters of my life were written in tears, loss, and ashes.

Yet every chapter also carried faith.

I lost people I loved.
I lost parts of the life I knew.
But I never lost God.

And I never forgot my father’s voice telling me—
“Betu, don’t give up.”

So I keep walking.

Some evenings aren’t planned; they simply become memories you carry forever. 🌊✨

An impromptu evening with friends, good food, endless conversations, and the soothing sea breeze of Juhu Beach—the place where my love for beaches began.

Draped in this beautiful Emerald Green Cotton Handloom Paithani, I found myself admiring the artistry in every detail. Tiny golden buttis shimmer across the saree, while the borders are adorned with elegant red and gold Munia motifs. The true highlight is its magnificent pallu, where Radha and Krishna sway gently on a jhula beneath a tree, woven against a luminous gold zari backdrop with vibrant touches of colour—a story of love, devotion, and joy captured in threads.

Like handloom, life isn’t meant to be flawless. Its little imperfections are reminders of authenticity, resilience, and the beauty of being real.

Life has taught me that words matter. People often speak without realising that the person standing before them feels the weight of those words. Over time, I have learned to protect my peace without losing my kindness.

I am sensitive, yet not weak.
I bend, but I do not break.
Every storm has shaped the woman I am today.

Here’s to spontaneous evenings, meaningful friendships, healing sea breezes, and sarees that carry stories within their folds.

Some moments, some people, and some sarees become timeless memories. 💚🌊✨
