We’ll get there. Slowly, slowly.

Just the highlights.

The best way of making sure a big birthday present lands with a surprise? Give it 14 months early.

@ashleypfrazier has been coveting a Figaro for a good couple of decades. So pleased to have been able to take the framed photos from her university bedroom wall and make them life size. by @richardafrazier

📍 Brussels, Belgium. June 2026.

Into the landlocked Belgian capital during a an unbelievable heatwave? Sure. Five nights at @worldofcoffeeeurope with @miir for a fun fever dream of a visit that was also, it turns out, pretty special. Punctuated by all the things one might expect: frites, Smurfs, spaghetti monsters and, in my opinion, far too many urinating statues.

The dream team: @ben_keeler, @magicfrompoland, @dziab.followthemug and @wilderness_yogi. And thanks to our activation partners @slowfood_international, @doubleshotcz and @coaltowncoffee. by @richardafrazier

📍Glasgow & Girvan, Scotland. June 2026.

A long overdue trip back to Scotland to celebrate the wedding of Alan and Tash, wander Glasgow’s West End and enjoy some incredibly Scottish weather.

Girvan taxi driver fact: that big lump out at sea in the first photo is Ailsa Craig, an uninhabited island that’s home to gannets, puffins and a dense granite that’s used to make all of the curling stones used in the Winter Olympics. 🥌

I also saw a hare the size of a corgi and got far too familiar with the Bat Conservation Trust, who have an option on their phone line to report a “bat crime”. by @richardafrazier

A look at the making of my latest poster for @petchirestaurant presents series.

I first discovered cyanotype printing at @outsiders.store’s First Camp, where @_kwood___ was running workshop’s throughout the festival. The process involves using material that’s been paired with light-sensitive organic chemicals. By combining your chosen materials, time and fresh water, you’re able to create indigo blue prints that have the feel of a photo negative; they’re stark and yet slightly ethereal. Carefully laying your chosen objects onto the canvas, you leave everything in the sun. The objects block the light to leave behind their silhouettes, which remain a ghostly white against the dark indigo blue of the background.

This felt like an apt medium for Pêtchi’s upcoming collaboration with @ben_marks_perilla and @perilladining. A celebration of high summer cooking and island produce, @joebakerchef and I created the prints in my garden using wild fennel collected on the way back from a surf near his home. by @richardafrazier

📍 Dublin, Ireland. April 2026.

Dropping through Dublin this time last week. Ostensibly I was there for @dublincoffeefest, which was as great as always, but the bits in between were just as fun.

Essential stops included coffee and bakes at the ever excellent @proper_order_coffee_co, more coffee but this time with bagels at the beautiful @volumesdublin, a delicious few plates at @cometrestaurant, a cold glass at @loosecanoncheeseandwine, and one more coffee and a concerted browse around the perfectly put together @indigoandcloth. Let’s not talk about how many slices of @bambino_dublin I got through.

My visit also coincided with @hatchcoffee’s 10th birthday. I loved bringing @miir to the party and celebrating the occasion with the team and their community. Congrats guys!

If I saw you, great to see you. If we caught up, great to chat. ✌🏻 by @richardafrazier

📍 Bologna, Italy. February 2026.

A week ago today I landed in Bologna for 36 hours in the city with @miir / @miir_uk supporting @slow_food_italia and @slowwinefair. Very lucky to spend time in places like this, meeting interesting people and eating and drinking delicious things during the moments in between.

Side note, see if you can spot the reflection of the nun in the first photo.

Cin cin 🤌🏼

Our littlest boy is getting pretty big.

Auden turned three last week. It was a pretty big turnout (→). @ashleypfrazier working up the third exceptional cake in less than two months.

The final week and a bit of 2025. Christmas giving way to Grayson’s 6th birthday and some anniversaries squeezed in (9, 11, 24 years depending on how you count it) via beach walks and bike rides. by @richardafrazier

📍 La Rochelle, Bordeaux and Vitre, France. October 2025.

San Sebastián and back again via the bits in between. Stopping through La Rochelle for dinner and breakfast on the way there — and more of the same (plus a quick game of tennis) at @chateau.leognan on the way back — all sandwiched between some time in Vitré. by @richardafrazier

📍 San Sebastián, Spain. October 2025.

Back after a four-and-a-bit year hiatus and we brought the family. With a reputation that precedes it, this city just doesn’t need to be as great as it is. Its setting, its surrounds, its beaches, its world-renowned culinary reputation (“yes, it has more Michelin stars per capita than any other city in the world” goes the much-pedalled quote), its warm yet easy going attitude — there are countless laurels it could choose to rest on.

Instead, it leans into all of them and just gets better with each extra day you get to spend there. Hands down one one of the most fun and delicious places to spend your time. by @richardafrazier
