What started as a promise to my mom back in 2001 before I left Michigan State early for the NBA grew into something much bigger as Jaela got older and @jaserich4 and @jaxrich23 came along. Returning to school after 20 years was one of the hardest challenges of my life, but I stuck with it and earned my B.A. in Sports Management from the University of Florida. To Jaela, Jase, and Jaxon thank you for cheering me on through this journey. To my wife @jackiempaul thank you for your unwavering love and support every step of the way. And to my Mom I appreciate you for challenging me years ago to strive for academic success, love you all! #uf2025 🐊🐊🐊 by @richboyz23

@nardizack for six years you fought, but you never complained. You just kept living life to the fullest, enjoying every moment and making the most of every day.
What started with us simply deciding to play a round of golf turned into our epic spring and fall golf trips every year. We got the chance to play some of the best courses in the country and probably the world. The golf was always great, but it was the memories, the laughs, and all the trash talking on the course that made those trips special.
Over the years you became a brother to Jackie and me, and an uncle to Jaela, Jase, and Jaxon. You always showed up for my family whether it was games, birthdays, life milestones, or any other activity we had going on. Your presence, love, and support meant more to us than you probably ever knew.
Sometimes life throws you curveballs you just aren’t prepared for. Learning of your passing on the same day I’m burying another brother is something I’m still trying to process. It’s hard to even put into words, but writing this makes me more grateful for every round, every trip, every laugh, every conversation, and every memory we shared. You fought until the very end, and through it all, you showed everyone around you what it truly meant to live while you were here.
Rest easy Zack. You’ll be missed, but I know you are up there on the golf course hitting ’em straight down the fairway. šŸŒšŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ™šŸ¾šŸ•Šļø Long Live Party Nardi! #fuckcancer by @richboyz23

@kyngpoppa_2 Thank you for being such an amazing unc/godfather to @jaserich4 and @jaxrich23. Your love, guidance, and wholehearted support played a huge role in shaping the young men they are today. I’ll remember every family gathering, every conversation, every laugh, and all the times you tried to learn the newest dance moves from them šŸ˜‚. You set an incredible example of what a godparent should be, and I can only hope that @jackiempaul and I can be that same example for Harlee & Hendrix. Praying for @kawandab and the rest of your family. Rest easy, bro. Your love and legacy will live on. ā¤ļøšŸ™šŸæ by @richboyz23

@cjash75 been telling me about @alma_mater_footwear so I grab a pair and finally got a chance to test him them out on the course today, and they definitely delivered. Super comfortable, great feel, and looked good doing it. Even better, I shot my low round of the year with a 75.

Safe to say these have earned a permanent spot with the golf shoes I’ll wear on the course šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Excited to grab a few more pairs really soon! Big shoutout to @alma_mater_footwear ā›³ļøšŸ”„ by @richboyz23

I’m excited to officially announce that I’ll be joining the Denver Nuggets as an analyst this season. Denver has always been a special place for me and my family. We’ve built so many lifelong friendships here and have always considered Colorado home. To be back in Denver and now have the opportunity to be part of the Nuggets organization makes this next chapter even more meaningful.

I’m grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get started. See you this season Nuggets fans! by @richboyz23

RIP to one of my favorite coaches, Don Nelson. šŸ•ŠļøšŸ™šŸ¾
Nellie was truly one of a kind. I’ll always appreciate the opportunity I had to play for him and everything I learned from him in that short ā€œWe Believeā€ year. He saw basketball differently, trusted his players, and wasn’t afraid to do things his own way. Rest easy, Coach. Truly one of the greatest to ever do it! Your impact on the game will never be forgotten. by @richboyz23

Jason Richardson (@richboyz23 ) was a HUMAN-HIGHLIGHT FILMšŸŽ¬ Attended Saginaw Arthur Hill and made his time there MUST-See-TV šŸ“ŗ Every thunderous dunk, soaring putback, and electrifying fast break had fans on their feet before the ball even hit the rim. Richardson carried Arthur Hill all the way to the Class A state championship game, leaving behind one of the most unforgettable high school careers Michigan has ever seen. By the time his senior season ended, he had earned Michigan Mr. Basketball honors and McDonald’s All-American statusšŸ”„

1998 Michigan’s Mr. BasketballšŸ‘‘
1998 McDonald’s All-AmericanšŸ”
1998 Parade All-AmericanšŸ”„
1998 1st Team Class Aāœ…

Jason Richardson didn’t just arrive at Michigan State—he elevated one of college basketball’s greatest eras. As a fearless freshman, he played a pivotal role off the bench in helping the Spartans capture the 2000 NCAA National Championship. Then came his breakout season. Richardson exploded into one of the nation’s premier stars, leading Michigan State in scoring with 14.7 points per game, powering the Spartans back to the Final Four, and earning First Team All-Big Ten honors. From East Lansing to the national stage, J-Rich proved he wasn’t just a high-flying dunker—he was a winner, a leader, and one of the most electrifying players in college basketballšŸ™ŒšŸ¾

With the 5th overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors selected Richardson. In his NBA Career, he was a 2x NBA Slam Dunk Champion (2002 & 2003) and league leader in 3-pointers made from 2007-2012. He is one of the foundation players that started the ā€œ3 and Dā€ type of player. He has played for the Warriors, Charlotte Bobcats, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers.

Scrolling through movies on a flight trying to find something to watch… and I come across a film called Rouge about one of the most storied high school basketball programs in Michigan, River Rouge High School.

As I’m watching, they start talking about my guy, Brent Darby my AAU point guard who helped carry on that winning legacy in the late 90s.

BD wasn’t just one of the best point guards I ever played with he was different. Automatic from three, breaking somebody ankles every game, and locking people up on defense. But more than all that, he was one of the best human beings I’ve ever known. BD passed away in 2011 at the age of 30 from blood clots gone way too soon.

If you ever had the chance to be around him, then you knew exactly what he meant to everyone.

I’m honestly in shock by what was posted depicting the Obamas as animals. It’s offensive and unacceptable period! I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but we also can’t keep getting pulled into outrage of the day distractions every time new Epstein files release detailing how closely connected or directly involved Trump was. Whether it’s extreme policy proposals, historical revisionism of America’s racial brutal history, aggressive and deadly enforcement from ICE, or inflammatory posts like this it’s all part of a bigger pattern of division and deflection.

We have to stay focused, call out racism and dehumanizing behavior wherever it appears, and stand together in demanding leadership that reflects basic dignity, truth, and accountability. by @richboyz23
