POSTS STORIES REELS

I am obsessed with my keynote “Soundtrack for Success” because it creates connection, momentum, positive change, dancing, and a room full of singers. 🪩

This video will always be a reminder that you can positively move a room mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Welcome to my passion. Engagement, empowerment, and entertainment.

It’s been a crazy 48 hours. Had a birthday, launched a book, went on TV, became an @amazon Best Selling Author. ❤️

The goal was to just write a book, now it’s to take this to another level and help as many people improve their lives through the book and keynote.

I’m so thankful for the love, support, and selfies of those that have already received their books!

Thank you @gamechangerpublishingcompany @mykclive @mpikansascity and everyone around the world who has made this week phenomenal. ❤️ by @richbracken1

"Mental health and law firms is like the world's biggest poker game where everybody's bluffing."

Rich Bracken on why everyone in law is bluffing.

Send this to the colleague who always says they're fine. 💗

One of the main mindset shifts I hear from leaders after my keynote: prioritizing self-care.

The biggest myths I destroy are that self-care is selfish and that it has to take a lot of time.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m ALWAYS down for a spa day (looking at you Four Seasons 😉) but in a matter of minutes, even seconds, you can invest in your self-care and energy.

Mindful breathing, listening to a positive or calming song, or even staring at the wall for less than 5 minutes can flip your day.

Don’t think it’s worth it? Allow me to report the following benefits:

• Sharper decisions: Rest and recovery restore the prefrontal cortex’s capacity for focus and judgment, so leaders think strategically instead of reacting from stress.

• Stronger emotional regulation: A leader who manages their own energy stays calmer under pressure and is less likely to let frustration spill onto the team.

• Healthier team culture: When leaders model boundaries and recovery, they give their people permission to do the same, which reduces burnout and turnover.

• Sustained performance: Self-care turns leadership from a sprint into a marathon, protecting the creativity, resilience, and presence that long-term results depend on.

In the comments, I am sharing my favorite document that will give you 50 ways to invest in self-care in less than 5 minutes.

Please download it and invest 5 minutes into yourself every day.

You are 1/1. I work in an industry where comparison can derail you quickly and it used to for me. Not anymore.

First, I choose to celebrate others. Instead of being jealous or doubting myself, I will out loud say “Good for them.” I don’t know what path or connection they had to get there.

Second, I realized there isn’t one path to success. I’m on mine because I have my goals, my needs, my talents and my connections. So do you. And anyone who tells or tries to sell you that there’s only one way is a major red flag.

Third, I gladly sit in the mentality that I’m a “Category of 1” speaker and coach.

Does that mean I think I’m better than others? No, I’m just me. I will be perfect for some and not aligned with others and I’m so ok with that.

Be proud of who you are and what you have to offer. It is YOUR unique angle.

Anyone can do it, but no one can do it like you.

I’ll be honest a lot of times when I share my messages I need to hear them too.

Believe in yourself.
Be proud of yourself.
Determine how you want to show up and what you want to accomplish today.

I always practice what I preach in my keynotes and yesterday at a healthcare conference, I told my audience to slow down.

A room full of the best healthcare marketing execs collectively sighed.

We are too busy in this world and we are moving way too fast.

I should know, it’s what landed me in the ER years ago.

A “high performer” on the outside, a ticking time bomb on the inside.

Anxiety
Stress
Insomnia/little sleep
Over absorbing emotions from others

It almost caused a heart attack, but it was the turning point in my life that got me into speaking out to high performers.

Slow down and take care of yourself.

I shared with them this powerful exercise that I learned from @diti22 of @onepeloton

Spend at least 5 minutes in the morning quietly asking yourself “How am I?”

How am I mentally?
How am I physically?
How am I emotionally?

Let whatever needs to come through be what it is.

Don’t fix it, just acknowledge it.

Then shift your mind to how you’re going to show up moving forward.

That intentional pause 3 times a day allows you to identify where you are and prevent the spiral that we land in as we say “I’ll deal with that later.”

Of all the things you spend your time and attention on, you are the most valuable.

Act accordingly. 🙏🏻❤️

Keynote download: HCIC.

Amazing group and so engaged and I’m sharing my favorite feedback point that someone shared with me. 🙏🏻

As a speaker, you should want to open hearts, change mindsets, empower and entertain. You are there to make a difference for a room filled with of people who need what you’re about to say.

Over the last week I have experienced two instances of what could only be described as event experience masterclasses.

On the professional side, I loved being able to speak and engage at @money20_20 for the 3rd year in a row. The experience is always top notch and I go over the top with praise for the entire creative experience. From MainStage to show floor to after hours immersion, it is truly an unforgettable experience throughout.

Few events that I’ve ever been to come close to the activations and creative design, but also the hospitality that the team shows at every stop is one to marvel at.

Plus, when you throw a party like this, you don’t mind pulling your phone out to capture moments like these.

On the personal side, I plan a major college football trip every year with my son and this year he wanted to go to Austin to a University of Texas game.

Two words: blown away! 🤘🏻

Yes, it’s amazing to be in a venue where over 100,000 people are screaming at the top of their lungs and as a lifelong Chiefs fan, the noise and fan engagement is one to rival.

But the full experience was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the video design and production was unbelievable, and then when you seize every timeout as an opportunity to keep the energy levels up through music, fireworks, lights, and even a drone show, the engagement is indescribable.

And while most companies won’t welcome their people in with a cannon or smoke show, one has to wonder, what can we do to improve our experience in events and work a little more?

This is where creativity in leadership comes in.

So I ask you @instagram what have you seen events or companies do that raises the level of experience and engagement to a notable standard?

P.S. Don’t think that my wheels aren’t spinning on new ideas for 2027 😉🪩
