In 2020, I lost my corporate job due to COVID. Everything I thought was stable disappeared overnight. Instead of dwelling in defeat, I turned to something new creating metaverse content for a computer game. No roadmap, no mentors, no helping hands. Just me, my computer, and an obsession with figuring it all out. Some days, I was glued to my screen for 22 hours straight learning, creating, and grinding to build a name in a digital world that didnโ€™t want to let me in. I was already well known on social media for other things, but transitioning into the gaming space? That was a different battle. People excluded me, shut doors in my face, and refused to share knowledge. Not because I lacked talent, but because my presence, my positive personality, and my energy made waves they werenโ€™t ready for. But hereโ€™s the thing favor isnโ€™t determined by people. Itโ€™s determined by consistency, obedience, and an unshakable work ethic. I kept pushing, creating, and showing up when nobody was watching. And now, five years later, Iโ€™m being recognized as one of the top creators in this space. Not only was I personally invited to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, but I also had the honor of meeting the executives, CEO, and founder of the game we all know and love. I am gracefully humbled by this recognition. Itโ€™s not just about me itโ€™s about the journey, the discipline, the unseen struggles, and the faith it took to get here. Donโ€™t let my social media presence fool you. This isnโ€™t luck. This is what a good work ethic, consistency, and favor look like.
