A lot of kids and adults have been telling me to start a YouTube channel, and just this week I had three kids say they want me to share content. I asked what kind of content, and they told me:
“what goes on at the gym.”
This gave me some ideas… how cool would it be to showcase my kids and what they do in the kids class from time to time? They would be able to hop on and watch themselves doing cool things🤙🏼
Also, sharing some of the cool things we teach at our gym, and some of the crazy things that may or may not go on in the home of the Meisters.
Been a long time coming, and I’m just going to have fun with it but if anyone would like to subscribe to my YouTube channel please go check out PrimalTactics.

What I get to see every day. Thought other people should enjoy the innocence of my sweet Kade. Already reminding me of Brayden in so many ways. Our bond is already strong and I’m so very blessed.
We had a fearful start in the beginning, but the Lord has been so gracious.
These last 6 months have been the best times.

Accountability, by talking trash… because you love them 😜
Sometimes you have to link up with a teammate to hammer on another 🤙🏼

This was a first for us… I was starting to think a family snuck in their kid to our kids Jiu Jitsu class.
“wear a costume day” had quite a few surprises for us… this being one. One of our most quiet Cubbies (we have 24 of them) was playing on the mat, and when we were trying to figure out who the child is even his own mother didn’t respond to us 😂
We were very much confused.

- It’s not just an individual sport.
A solid team gets you there. Proud of all my students putting in the time to better themselves, and their team. There is a breaking down and building up part of Jiu Jitsu. Many can’t handle it. Those who can, carry on and lead by example. These kids are it.
This team hits podium just about every single time they test themselves, and it’s because of one another.
Congratulations to my students getting invited to compete at World Grappling Championships.
Let’s go and put on a show.

I couldn’t be more proud of our team at Lion Heart MMA. The hard work, dedication, and commitment everyone puts in day after day is something special. Watching everyone push each other, grow together, and genuinely support one another is what makes this team different. It’s not just about becoming better athletes, but better people. Proud of what we’ve built, proud of the people who represent us, and excited for what’s ahead.

When my opponent is making things difficult for me to get my two on one game going, I throw in the snapping of the head to threaten this 100% sweep.
If my opponent postures up hard, I take the double unders. If my opponent postures up just enough to get his head out, but not enough to give me the double unders; I attack the two on one once again.
When I have my opponent worrying about this trilemma, and then the trilemmas within each of the positions it turns into, I find success the deeper the position becomes.
Making your positions chain together is so important. It allows you to be the one setting up positions, keeping you constantly ahead.

At times I sit back and just cherish these moments. But sometimes you gotta record because: you know your son will think of something funny, your daughter will play hard to get until you take her brothers side and then she wants to be your best friend, and your wife will hold your 6 month old, take a big bite of a hamburger and laugh.
These are the best memories.
