Thirty years after ‘The Birdcage’ first brought Armand, Albert and Agador to the screen, Hank Azaria (‘The Simpsons’) and Nathan Lane (‘Death of a Salesman’) reunited for a special anniversary screening and conversation as part of the Robin Williams Center's 10th anniversary celebration, sharing stories from the making of the beloved comedy and remembering their extraordinary co-star, Robin Williams.

Lane recalled how he landed the role of Albert after director Mike Nichols kept calling, while Azaria shared how a small role he chose at the table read grew into Agador after Williams suggested he take on the entire part. Both reflected on working with Williams and Nichols and the experience of bringing these unforgettable characters to life.

Hear from Hank and Nathan in a conversation moderated by Richard Ridge of BroadwayWorld. Coming soon to our YouTube channel. Subscribe to be notified when it drops. Link in bio.
