WAIT HE'S ACTUALLY HERE!!!?

disclaimer; I actually DO believe that the Holy Spirit is living and active in the lives of those who are born again and follow Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is our helper, our comforter and our guide. He empowers us to live a Holy life; to actually live as Christ taught and demonstrated. He speaks today in surprising and unexpected ways.

No shade if you don't agree with that, but these "wait He's actually here!?" moments happen all the time. This is a light/fun moment in the song, BUT isn't it incredible that the Spirit of the Living God is WITH US!?

grinned from start to finish as I pulled this production and mix together. PURE JOY 🙌🏾. Forgot to talk about the bass 🫠 but I made another reel about that.

Anyway go support the lad @josh_carr_music he's a 💎

this little interlude is one of many fun moments in this joy 💣 of a song 🤘🏾🤘🏾

A bit 2 door cinema club (although I haven't really ever listened to them), but mostly I put this part in because it felt silly and fun and reminded me of my daughter when she's having a hyperactive moment 😅 ENJOY 🙌🏾

PS this a bit more leg than I was intending 🤣

Deffo went full "dad" in the intro 🤣, but when the song is this joyful, the silly comes out!

The purest of joys when I first heard the demo of this song. Honoured that @josh_carr_music asked me to produce it. Punky fun bass, let the joy FLOW 🤘🏾

Stop burying your lyrics in generic production. 🎙️

When an artist has written gut-wrenching lyrics, the last thing the song needs is a massive wall of sound drowning out the message.

For this alt-rock worship track, we were pulling heavily from that early Paramore energy, but instead of rushing to stack a dozen guitars in the intro, we focused on holding space.

I used psychoacoustics—manipulating the width and depth of the stereo field—to create a restless, evolving atmosphere underneath an incredibly intimate vocal. It creates movement and tension, even when almost nothing is actually playing.

Worship doesn’t have to fit into one sonic box to be powerful. It just has to be honest.

If you have a non-traditional sound, diverse influences, and lyrics that need to be felt rather than just heard, let’s build something undeniable. Drop me a DM

back when I was tracking up guitars for @josh_carr_music song Abba Father.

the chorus felt like it needed a chimey cascading guitar line to contrast the core groove between drums, bass & rhythm guitars

So popped the Les Paul into DADGAD (actually had never played in this tuning before recording this song 🤣🤘🏾) worked out this part with Josh and then refined it.
