✨ Excited to share something special! My incredible friend Issy Kleiman just launched her new podcast, Ask Izzy, where she dives deep into life’s big questions, starting with a conversation that’s especially close to our hearts. As you may know, her best friend Iris Brumer, is bravely battling ALS, and we’re hoping to bring more awareness to this disease and explore different raw and real topics about life.

Every listen helps us spread the word and will give this podcast the strong launch it deserves. 💙

Please check it out! It’s available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart and many more platforms. 🔗Link in bio. by @mattlorchevents

Today would’ve been my dad‘s 94th birthday. He passed away peacefully last October in Seattle. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Bernard (Bernie) Ashkenaze grew up in New York City, the son of Jewish immigrants, raised a family in Texas and spent his later years in Seattle. I feel so fortunate to have had him in my life for so long. You can read his obituary on Seattletimes.com or read it on Facebook. May his memory be for a blessing. Love you Dad. ❤️ by @mattlorchevents

Thanks to our generous community of supporters and the amazing talent in the room, Jubilee Jazz Night: An Evening of Story and Song was a resounding success! With your help, we raised $180,000 and counting, to empower the women of @jubileewomenscenter to help them build stable and fulfilling futures. This past year alone, we served over 1300 women via our holistic programming. As our program director, Lisa Barnes shared on Thursday, we currently do not receive any federal funding for our program and do this all through our community of donors. Thank you for being a part of our community!

Thank you to our sponsors and to the wonderful @msjosephinehowell @mattlorchevents @musicfactorynw @arijoshualovesyou @thetripledoor for helping make this night so special!

🦋🎶🦋

In addition to her incredible music, Ms. Howell shared her personal connection to Jubilee and generously told her own powerful story of homelessness and how important it was to finally "have a key" to her own home. Having a key to a space of one’s own, provides the women of Jubilee safety, integrity, and agency to move forward.

🔑🔑🔑

It was amazing to see and feel the support that provides the key which allows these women to do this. Thank you.

It’s always a highlight of the year to attend the annual West Point Founders Day Dinner with my dad, Bernard Ashkenaze, class of ‘52 pictured. Oldest Seattle grad in attendance. So many interesting and outstanding people in the room, including the “Supe” LTG Steve Gilland, General Barry and Mrs. McCaffrey along with the youngest grad! 🇺🇸 taken in Fairmont Olympic Hotel by @mattlorchevents
