PRO DAY 2026 💫

I’ve been waiting 2 years for this moment.

After my season, I started training for my 2024 Pro Day, but my Achilles got to the point where I couldn’t even run. I had to shut it down. I thought I’d be ready for 2025… but it didn’t go like that.

I tried everything — PRP shots (twice), 8 weeks in a boot each time, rehab, and still nothing changed. I was still in pain.

On October 14, 2024, I made the toughest decision surgery.

All of 2025 was just me grinding to come back. Rehab, getting my foot right, getting my body right. Coming back from an Achilles injury isn’t easy, and even after surgery, I was still dealing with some problems.

I kept going though.
More PRP. Cortisone shot. Stem cells in October 2025.

Then January 12th, I went to Florida to train at Athlete Innovations, first time really pushing and trusting my foot again.

And finally… 2 years later… Pro Day.

I went out there and gave it everything I had. Not perfect, but I’m proud of what I showed.

The last video on this post is from 2024 — me sitting out, in a boot, after a PRP shot. I told myself in that moment: when I get my chance, I’m going to be ready.

All glory to God.
These past 2 years built me mentally, physically, and spiritually. I truly believe if God gave me this blessing back then, I wouldn’t have been ready to hold it.

But now I am. by @rick1ejohnson
