This afternoon, I’m posted up in the McLaren Office at @parkandsocial meeting with a business owner on behalf of Bluewater Advisory to explore their communication style and how greater self-awareness can shape the way they lead and interact with the people around them.

When you better understand yourself, it becomes easier to recognize what others may need from you and adjust accordingly.

@sstephmariee - I have calculated that the perfect cut line in our household is roughly an 8.5” x 8.5”-ish center square (feel free to run my math on that it’s close enough 🤓 lol), which means our plan of attack on a 12” x 12” batch of brownies can, in fact, leave both parties satisfied with the equity distribution of this delicious treat.

Anyway since we’re already here… what’s everyone’s perfect brownie piece?

First official day in the office at @parkandsocial 📍

A few weeks ago, I shared how my connection to this place started with my friend and longtime client, @furtkelmar . I still remember sitting with Kurt at @theroastcoffeeandcafe , then walking across the street as he showed me what was being built here and talked through the vision.

Today, I walked in for the first time in a professional capacity and took a minute to appreciate how much can change in a couple of years.

Going forward, I’ll be spending a day or two most weeks on this side of town, using Park + Social and The Roast as a home base for meetings, coaching, training, and conversations with clients and friends.

For those who have asked what Park + Social actually is: It’s a private social club and lifestyle campus built around hospitality, community, and automotive culture, with dining, lounges, meeting and coworking spaces, events, art gallery (f/ local artists) and climate-controlled vehicle storage. It’s ambitious and I absolutely love it.

And in another full-circle moment, Detail Solutions is opening a location right here on the property and offering full service detailing, PPF and coating services to both members and the public!

If you’re in the Glen Arm / White Marsh / Perry Hall area and have been meaning to connect, I’m actively accepting reasons to spend more time over here. 😂

There is a rising tide at P+S 🌊… 🚀

@sstephmariee and I had the chance to attend the Serve, Sip & Socialize Happy Hour 🍻 at @piedmontlearningcenter this week, and really enjoyed our evening!

It was a great opportunity to learn more about Piedmont and the unique way they bring together education, community, the outdoors, and the development of future leaders. There is a LOT happening there, and we’re looking forward to getting to know the organization and the people involved. I even harnessed my many years watching Bob Ross and picked up a paintbrush. 🎨

We also managed to come home with some absolutely incredible honey from their hives and tried fresh honeycomb, which was a pretty fantastic bonus and reminded me that my dad used to eat honeycomb. 🐝🍯

Thanks again to everyone at Piedmont for having us. We will return (with friends)!!
