It’s been a minute since I’ve hit a metal show in a small venue. Kinda miss walking out with my ears ringing until the next day and wondering if that faint buzzing is tinnitus, or just my ears reminding me I had a great night catching @Sevendust.

Did we need to go to Vegas for a Chris Brown/Usher concert? No.
Did I need to see Magic Mike with Tessie? Also no.
Should I have made better financial decisions while we were there in Vegas? Probably.
Did those things happen anyway? Absolutely.
(And before anybody asks -I’m secure enough in my manhood to enjoy Magic Mike)

Imagine refusing to even land your plane near Autzen, spending TV timeouts dancing like it’s a music video, and then getting your ass handed to you on national tv anyway.
All that theatrics just to fly home with an “L”

Nine days. Apparently, that’s all it takes for everyone to level up.

-My beautiful Granddaughter started pre-school.
-My Beautiful wife started her 26th year of teaching.
-My Beautiful stepdaughters started their Junior year of High School.
-My handsome step-son started year 2 of college.
-My Dashing little Grandson started Kindergarten.

As much as we’re told to enjoy every moment, you don’t realize how quickly life moves until you watch your grandkids and stepkids grow up before your eyes.

The last time my Human and I went to a concert together was Justin Timberlake in Salt Lake City… back in 2018. Evidently, we decided one concert every 8 years was a perfect schedule for some father/daughter QT.

Last time (and by “last time,” I mean a full decade ago) I saw Shinedown was back in 2016. I originally only showed up for the opener, Sixx:A.M., but stuck around -and left as a big fan.

Last night, Shinedown did it again. They put on one PHENOMENAL show.!! They looked great, sounded great, and were every bit as incredible as I remembered.
From Ashes to New was great. New fan right here.

Hitting another Hard Rock concert with my Human was pretty damn fun. Loud music, lots of fire, and making memories together.

Tessie and my favorite little humans are about to head back to school -so we squeezed in a little pedal session on the belt Thursday morning.
Life gets busy and time seems to pass in an instant, so you gotta make time for the people you love and the moments that matter. because someday, those moments will be the memories you hold onto most.
