Throw back to being absolutely hammered at my graduation. Still can’t believe it’s been 3 years since I finished my masters program and I never posted these photos. Congrats to everyone graduating this year! 🍻

The Winter that Froze Over - Pagan Ritual
(Live @ 1720 [Drum Cam])

Shared this on the @paganritualband page & wanted to post it here too. Check out this video from one of our gigs at the @1720warehouse earlier this year. I also do the vocals but camera angle doesn’t capture that. Still working that! Let me know what you all think? 🤘🏼

Shout out to @the_roobz for booking us and continuing to support the LA Metal scene ⚔️

Warheart - Syn Absence (COB COVER [Live @knucklehead_hwood 11/26/2022])

Check out this dope cover we have been working on of Warheart by @cobhc 🤘🏼 not the best take for me as a drummer, but this song is still a banger and an honor for me to try and emulate @raatikainen_jaska on the drums.

With the anniversary of his passing coming up, we would also like to honor Alexi Laiho, one of our many inspirations and a huge reason why we are the musicians we are today. We appreciate everything you’ve done for metal and though it’s been a few years since you’ve passed we know you’re jammin with the metal gods. 🤘🏼

We hope you enjoy the video and it will be better next time! So come through to the next @official_synabsence show!

Arco Iris Primary School, Ascot Elementary, Carver Middle School, Jefferson High School, UC Davis, and now USC.

It has been an honor and privilege to be able to attend all these schools. Today is not only for me, but my family, friends, and community. I grew up right down the street from USC and I’d never thought I’d be able to call it my school let alone become a graduate. This one is for the hood, and for anyone else who aims to claim what’s rightfully ours. Now it’s time to get back to work and make sure more of us get to experience this opportunity😤💪🏼🐉🤘🏼.

Shout out to my dad @mromero213 for taking these photos and my mom @magdalia1987 for taking care of us.

I had an opportunity to participate in a water drop-off event with @borderangelsofficial this past weekend. What an inspiring trip. This was only a small glimpse into the reality faced by those who have journeyed this path. What a privilege it is for me stand here as a grad student when less than 50 years ago my grand parents and parents ventured through this treacherous endeavor. I have yet to fully process this experience, but I am grateful to have been able to provide a sliver of hope to those powerful people traveling for a better chance at life.
Thanks @latinxusc, @uscsowkstuorg, and @borderangelsofficial for creating this opportunity. ✊🏽 by @rickdrumz
