Friday night out with @tiffdubb at @liveatthegarden with @mspattilabelle and @koolandthegang

A tremendous show. A big thank you to @deedee_kelly for seeing me and asking if I could dance or sing. It ended up with me on stage with the legend Ms Patti LaBelle. All I know is that it ended with her telling me “I like your style.” I’m good from here on out.

Why Liverpool? A lifelong fan shares the story. But then, a shift: football in America feels elitist, barring kids based on income, unlike the UK's grassroots opportunities. Growing up, color didn't matter. Now, I want my kids to live in a world free from segregation. My generation didn't experience systemic racism, but we recognize the struggles.
