Chapter 25: HOMEOWNER 😍🏠✨🔑🎁🎄
The best early Christmas gift to myself! First owner!

If you told me at the beginning of this year that I’d be buying a home, I would’ve laughed. I’ve wanted to be a homeowner for years, but God said now was my time.

For a long time, I believed a home was something you wait to have “for a family.” God showed me otherwise. When He says yes, the timing is always perfect.

I’ve been on the search for my home since April 2025. In July, I was just two days away from closing on a different house and made the difficult decision to walk away because my heart wasn’t in it. I’ve learned that if it doesn’t feel right, it’s simply not meant for you.

The entire time, God was preparing something bigger and better. When I walked into this home, I knew instantly. Out of all the homes I’ve seen, this one stood out. This was the one.

When I didn’t know how, God made a way. He truly will meet you where you are and place you exactly where you’re meant to be.

I also want to give a huge thank you to my amazing realtor for sticking with me through eight long months 🤍. It takes a special kind of person to be patient, committed, and consistent—especially with someone as particular as me—and she never gave up or left me hanging. Her professionalism, dedication, and persistence meant everything, and I’m beyond grateful for her support throughout this entire journey. You truly deserve all the success that comes your way.

A huge thank you as well to my friends who held me down while I waited to get into my home—and to the one who helped me pack up all my stuff 🤣🤍. I appreciate y’all more than you know. I got y’all! 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🫶🏾

Thank you to my family and friends for the constant love, encouragement, and support. I couldn’t have done this without you.

Now it’s time to decorate 😍🙌🏾 and create so many beautiful memories in my home.

God will put you in position. Always trust His timing. ✨🙏🏾

Fall, but still me. 🍂🤎

I wanted to bring fall into my living room without making the space scream fall. I kept my neutral foundation and modern black accents, then layered in warm rust tones, cozy textures, and a few subtle seasonal touches. Just enough to give the space that warm fall feeling while still keeping it clean, modern, and true to my style. ✨

My home, as imagined.

Cozy for fall, with a soft girl + modern aesthetic. 🍂🤎✨

For the couch, I wanted to bring in fall without taking away from the soft, neutral feel of my living room. I mixed warm rust tones with cream and beige, then added black accents for a little contrast.

The vision → the finds → my home, as imagined.

I had a vision for a warm, modern fall centerpiece and brought it to life in my own way. 🍂 The earthy vase, burnt-orange stems, amber accents & cozy neutrals came together exactly how I imagined.

inspo → imagined → home 🤎
